    go watch the first episode of ON FREDDIE ROACH....in the first 2 minutes of the show a reporter asks him something like "which is better for a fighter to have, big muscles or speed?"
    roach and i quote says "big muscles mean **** in boxing, speed beats that every time"

    That means that Cotto's workrate will be lowered. His stamina will be worse. Having Cotto been longer, it would have had sense, but Cotto is bulky already one weight category below middleweights.

    He's too compact to add more weight.
