I wish he would go to the US and get a new trainer.

Bika is seriously underated. Dirty, durable and can scrap. Aint watched him in a while though and hes getting on abit.

He's so bloody strong and Degale doesn't exactly have a lot of power, so Bike will be all over him.

Who knows where Degale would be if he had a proper trainer and a better mentality.

100% agree. Bika has no fear of punches even when they hurt. Degale should have switched trainer along time ago.

DeGales profile went completely off the radar with Hennessey what's the point boxing on channel five if your boxing at bluewater? James hasn't been happy with his situation so doesn't surprise me.

will be interesting to see how he deals with Bika's pressure. His corner for the Groves fight was hilarious "good boy, good boy"

DeGale should have left years ago. Mick's a joke of a promoter.

The irony is that he was getting good ratings (1-1.5m) on channel 5 (compared to frochs last fight on sky sports which was around 350k), but ask 100 people on the street who degale is and who froch is and you'd get far more saying froch

Then again he (rightly) gets rid of mick for giving him **** fights but keeps the trainee under who he's barely progressed under since beating paul smith?

I don't think it's so much boxing at the Bluewater that is the problem (although not ideal), it's that DeGale hasn't been marketed correctly by either Mick or himself. How he raises his profile now would be to put on a performance against Bika, take the WBC strap and start calling people out.

Seen many an interview where Degale didn't seem happy with Mick, even in some of his after-fight interviews.

He's obviously seeing the likes of Groves getting these opportunities and rightly so, want's some of that pie.

Was only a matter of time.

Fcuk sake maybe I'm losing my memory or something but I don't understand why so many people are going on about how bad James was in the Groves run up to the fight?Apart from calling him ugly kid and silly stuff like that was he really that bad?

Him and his trainer kept going on about how groves isn't fit to share a ring with degale, McDonnell saying 'let degale go, **** degale'. That he lost it and hoe his career has gone since is quite beautiful karma really
