Lead right hooks slamming into the body of Pina as Doliguez falls in. Jab on the chin and flurry on the mullet by Pina as Doliguez stays leaning inside. Doliguez pushes out with both hands, repelling a couple of Pina jabs while backing up, then fires a combo on the body. Wild right hooks slapped up and in from a leaned-askew crouch by Doliguez. Hard left hand leads on the nose and right hooks on the ribs by Doliguez. Pina is walking through punishment, opening up wide as he steps in with left hooks and misses several inches over Doliguez's head. Wild exchanges at the bell as Doliguez stays low and hits the body while spiraling in close around Pina, grazed on the head by his jabs.

Round 6

Doliguez is bowing forth and to either side, Pina trying to lay a long jab on him but unable to anticipate his location, just missing. Doliguez starts working in with big looping body shots as he closes in. Right hooks and overhand lefts clattering up the sides of Pina from hip to armpit. Very rough exchanges in center ring, Pina getting the worst of the physicality. HARD flush right hook on the cheek by Doliguez. Pina lobs a left hook low from outside. Doliguez hangs limply to one side and winds up a big can opener with the opposite hand. Doliguez is throwing big power shots while flopping his upper body around loosely on an invisible clothesline. Doliguez slams repeatedly into Pina, chests bumping, Doliguez punching at the arms of Pina and knocking him off step. Pina keeps trying to trade with him on the inside but Doliguez is too erratic in his movements and just physically stronger.

Pina missed the boat not going for broke in the 1st to force the finish.

Without the knockdown this would be a shutout, and he let a precious opportunity slip by.

Round 1

Segura is leading with high left hands. Salguero backs up and slashes down with left hooks. Right jabs and hooks on the body by Segura pressing in. Salguero is knocked back by a high left hand but returns firing after bouncing off the ropes with a combination from body to head. Segura keeps firing long left hands up top, bang on the nose. Light right hook and side-swiping left flurries on the body by Segura. Salguero chops with a right hand across the side of Segura's neck falling in and tying up.

Round 2

Segura is caught with a left hook and right hand as Salguero ambushes him after trotting into the ropes with seemingly overexcited haste, balance appearing rickety perhaps to lure Segura in. Segura is clapped on the head with several shots but comes forward slinging his own heavy left uppercuts and right hooks into the body of Salguero, a few reaching up to his chin, chasing him across the ring. Hard left uppercut on the gut by Segura. Salguero is dancing away extending his left jab. Salguero nearly hits the ropes and decides to jump in with a lead right uppercut on the body. Segura lowers himself and starts threshing at the body of Salguero, dodging his uppercut in the process. Salguero is jumping in landing left hooks and rights on the side of the head as Segura bangs the body.

Salguero is game.

 

Round 3

Segura is turning orthodox and putting hard left jabs up into Salguero's face but getting hit with combos of whipping underhand body shots as he comes forward. Huge overhand right by Salguero. Segura is winging big hooks with both hands and hurting Salguero with the few that glance across his face but most are missing, Segura getting very wild.

Round 4

Segura is throwing big uppercuts at Salguero and pursuing him, lunging across the ring. Salguero begins to settle down and find a home for the right hand on the eye socket of Segura and continues to flip up body shots as Segura willingly advances into the firing zone. Salguero is scoring better on the outside, rocking Segura's head back with stiff jabs. Salguero is managing to back Segura up at times. Now Salguero moves backwards, still outworking Segura as he drifts into the ropes. BIG CORKSCREW LEFT BY SEGURA WHILE TRADING WITH MOMENTS LEFT, dropping Salguero.
