Really proud of enzo last night. Didn't look scared like previous outings.

I actually think braehmer felt The powered and wanted none of it. Thing if he got a rematch he would win... **** all wrong with his jaw now

how could a rematch possibly be justified?

Enzo started really well, but he switched off and took them two big left hands off Braehmer at the end of the first round which did the damage. Braehmer was feeling Enzo's power though and knew to stay out of trouble because it was only a matter of time before Enzo was stopped or pulled out due to the eye injury.

Even up to the last seconds of the fight, i was thinking some type of haymaker would knock out Braehmer

enzo was leading 3-2 when the fight was stopped.... it was clear Brahmer didnt like enzos power, and resorted to clinching after the second round. im confident that had that freak injury not occured that Enzo would have won a unanimous decison, or even stop Brahmer late. really surpised me how well he did last night, especially considering that he fought nearly blind.

    Really?

Enzo reckoned it was a head clash in the interview after, but I didn't notice any evidence of that?

I don't think so, in the replay you could see it was a punch and not a headbutt.

If it were done by the head then that should be a "no contest" presumably.

But I think it was done by punches.

Still, Enzo was a bit unlucky.

Enzo began eating left and right hands straight from the beginning. His head responded to the punches from the first round on. Man, what is wrong with you? He lost every minute of every round.

I believe braehmer is made for enzo. Defo wasn't a punch the Germans head was going in continuously

Think your bang on the clinching spoke volumes...

And a enzo with to eyes would of been even more of. Challenge

This was how I saw it. He was just biding time wich made Enzo look competitive in rounds 3,4 and 5 despite the completely shut eye.
I think it would have been smarter from Brahmer if he had circled to Enzo's right and just closed the show.

Did anyone think it was weird that the beltholder agreed with having a Italian referee leading the bout? :blood

I don't know,on that performance Enzo deserves another crack at him.My concern would be that the German although older looked fresher and more solid, hard puncher who tookmEnzos punches well.If he wants to seems he has enough left to have another run out at this weight.
