Frampton represented Ireland as an am not GB like most prod nordies, he fights to unite just like Barry did , north and south is still the same island at the end of the day , I could care less what GB claims as theirs . Colonizing is redundant, and at some stage parliament will negotiate terms to release NI , then what are you going to call yourself?

Well U sound like a classey guy

Whatever u say doesn't change the fact that he is British

So by what date do u think that the ROI will actually be able to afford to have responsibility for NI? From what I can see they can't even keep themselves afloat nvr mind take on a country that requires an 8-10 billion block grant every year from the British government

And lol@ u for actually thinking that will ever happen :good

Ohh I'll still b British btw thanks!

Ohh an a Irish boxer who doesn't display a tricolor? Explain that one would yaah? Surely if he was as Irish as u claim he would be coming in with one round his neck?

And the British government love handing that out I'm sure.

He wears no colors that I have seen , again trying to unite the fans.

Small minded people like you keep the north from moving forward .

Would that be the passport that says "Ukited Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland"?

As of the Good Friday agreement, any Northern Irish person who wants to hold an Irish passport can do so too.

Thats why nearly all the good Northern irish soccer players play for the south!

Although I should make clear that all this nationality nonsense is just that...nonsense.

He doesnt play for a team or represent a country, hes a pro boxer who fights for himself and his family....and rightly so

The WBC route is the correct path for Frampton, a good win against LSC, a home defence against Quigg sets up big showdown with Rigo.

Incorrect, dissident republican terrorists keep NI from moving forward, u know the ones who r still murdering police officers and planting bombs in crowded shopping areas during Christmas

And ur correct, he wears no colors to unite the fans, u know the fans from his British backround where he was born and raised and the fans from his amateur backround

Would any of the Irish boxers from Belfast do the same to try and unite the communities?

Yup the same one that says British citizen beside my nationality

I voted in favour of the Good Friday agreement so I understand all of it thanks

Again incorrect. The only footballers who play for the South consider themselves to be Irish, they have the right to do this, tho they shouldn't claim their Irish right after representing NI at youth level. no footballer yet who would consider himself to be Northern Irish has played for the ROI

Why do people from the north get upset over players choosing to play for the republic so? iv never understood this, especially after what happened to Neil Lennon
