But iv heard people on this say that John Duddy and Andy Lee are british which is borderline insane

I think you'll find that one of the main reasons many Northern Soccer players play for the Republic, is a for a very unpolitical reason.

They dont want to play in a team that gets beaten by Luxembourg....
