Bit soft by Geale...when they took his World Title off him and gave it to Golovkin he screamed he was "Coming back to get what is rightfully His"....has obviously no intention of fighting Golovkin and for that he will lose a lot of credibility.!!!!
Being a Tasmanian I am a huge Geale fan also...just gutted he did not follow up with His promise and to make it worse he seems to be going down the Mundine Circus path now.!!!!
There is only one MidniteProwler you d1ckhead This may surprise you but I'm not the only person who dislikes Daniel Geale.
You're an idiot. Im a Geale fan and I am disappointed that after the WBA stripped him he said he will be back to claim what's his. He dropped the WBA belt to fight Mundine cool he made 6x the money still had the IBF belt. Then lost the IBF belt so he now has nothing turns down a fight with Golovkin because it won't be on HBO fair enough no U.S exposure and little money cool so Golovkin fights Adama who had fought 2 crap fighters since being well beaten by Geale. I can understand that. But the latest offer a fight that would of been on HBO,for the world title he was stripped of and using the excuse their was no Main Event date I am disappointed. Heaps of Aussies and other fighters have fought for world titles that haven't been on Main Event Thornberry,DeLisle,Murdoch,Bika,Pittman and that's just off the top of my head. Im sure Gealey would of made more than $20,000 which Vetyeka made in December against John. Unfortunately Gealey is clearly afraid of Golovkin. I will still support him but Im a little disappointed.Doesn't make me a Midnite Prowler alt.
He's nowhere near the level of those two. At least Geale ducked a dangerous fighter with sledgehammers in each fists. Not the likes Trout,Ottke,Garay etc.
Typical that he will fight Macklin who is coming off a beat down from Golovkin, in saying that it makes this a 50/50 fight. Macklin is probably the biggest puncher that glass jaw Geale would of ever faced.
He did well against Sturm and Martinez the Golovkin fight was a brutal beat down. See how Mack the knife comes back from that though I see he has won a fight since. Hopefully Geale can put on a good performance in his 2nd U.S HBO televised bout.:thumbsup
