Could Floyd Mayweather's huge neck be the reason for his granite chin?

    His chin is pure granite....

18 years in the game and has not gone down. :smoke

20+ world title fights, it's simply incredible. There is no other man like MR.Mayweather.

Yeah, the shot Mosely caught him with was not a hard shot right? Mosely is just some featherfist, and that shot wouldn't have knocked out most welters, right? :patsch

Corley didn't catch him clean with a huge punch right to the mandible?

Judah is some featherfisted chump, and that shot that Mayweather just shook off, covered up for a second to regain his bearings, and skillfully dodged the rest of the assault... doesn't take quite a chin to do that either? That was a hellacious shot right on the ****ing button

There is three prime examples of him taking insane shots that very few could. Remind me, which of those was partially blocked? Oh yeah, he took all those flush. I could go on... but why? You sir, are an idiot.

    EDIT:

Here is yet another video, a much better one, showcasing his chin. Is this enough clean, powerful shots to the chin for you? Dude has a granite chin, period.

Certainly helps but if there's a part of his body more of a factor in taking in shots.. its his LEGS. Plus his style, whenever he gets caught its always in a defensive stance, he never caught in between delivering a punch..

I'm a much bigger Mayweather fan than a Pacquiao fan, but I'm not a Pacquiao hater by any means, I'm a fan of both. With that said, Miguel was clearly weight drained in that fight, which makes you very susceptible to getting knocked out. He was having severe trouble making 147, due to his stocky frame, an extra two pounds of water weight makes a huge difference? Ever cut a ton of weight for anything? You can reach a wall, where basically even another half pound feels like you are killing yourself, I had that happened to me when I wrestled, BIG difference, especially if you're barely able to make a weight in the first place. When you're weight drained, that's less fluid around your brain, makes you much more susceptible to being knocked out.

Let me be clear: Pacquiao beats Cotto no matter what that night, but Cotto lost on the scales, and was dehydrated. He was very vulnerable to a knockout due to the aforementioned.

Could MAyweather's baby dick be the reason he's so insecure?

The general forum has gotten out of control, because moderation is nearly non-existent, trolls roam free. Ever since this placed switched management, the good moderators, the best being IntentionalButt are no longer able to do what they did before. The old moderators certainly made more of an effort to control trolling.

The classic forum has always, and still does, have great, knowledgeable posters. You can learn a ton over there, some true boxing historians post there.

He just has a normal neck for an athletic male.

Only pencil necked circle heads are in awe of a reasonable, athletic neck on a man.

He has a solid neck but nothing out of the ordinary. But he does have a good chin, I wouldn't say granite but it's definitely not a weakness in anyway.

We'll probably never see Mayweather take any kind of sustained assualt. He's simply to good defensively, even when he does get caught he has usually seen it coming and either braced himself for the impact or moved his head/upperbody to take most of the power off the punch.

    Did you watch this video?

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sonESivw13g

There are literally bombs to the chin in that video. He has to be graded with an A in the chin department, if not an A+. You're right he won't ever likely take a sustained assault, or any kind of combination to the chin, but there are some VERY HARD shots landed on him in that video. If he didn't have a superb chin, he'd have been dropped by some of the punches in that video without a doubt.
