I actually think Sprott is a tough fight in May for Joshua at this stage. As for this card clearly he wasn't fighting anyone of any stature so he probably is being saved for May.

According to ESPN Joshua injured his hand during his last fight.

Lewison would be a decent fight but it's too much of a risk at this stage.

He's obviously not injured, Eddie is desperate to pump up the Froch-Groves undercard and Joshua was the only saving grace on the Burns-Crawford UC

    Cut that **** out :nono

On the iftv interview he basically admitted he wasn't injured at all.

    Yeah just saw that.

Kugan- "a slight injury for you ? "

AJ " it is whatever you want to call it" then changed subject.

Very disappointing fom AJ and Matchroom letting down fans like that surely he could of fought on the 19th then over 6 weeks later on the 31st May.

Not a fan of the Joshua hype machine. His chequered past is swept under the carpet. This latest pull out does nothing to warm me towards him. His physique is inevitably going to fuel rumours.

Josh is a good talent... but is getting a little overated probably because he is the only good super heavyweight that has turned pro. Surprised not one of Medzhidov, Cammerelle, Dychko, Kuzmin, Omarov, Pfeifer, Hrgovic, etc haven't turned pro.
If Medzhidov ever turns pro.. it will be the Medzhidov era after Klitschko retires.
