In the Fonfara - Stevenson's card, along with Bertebiev-Lacy. It should be interesting card. Lemieux is still only 25, faced an actual world champ at 22 won every round except the one where Rubio openned up after Lemieux gassed. Lost a majority decision against former world champion Alcine at 23. Lemieux, while he is no Mayweather, still has a run to a world championship title and is quite entertaining fighter. :bbb
Guerrero's gonna get hit so hard he's gonna drop one of his r's. I still have hope for Lemieux and would love for him to develop more.
This will be pretty entertaining to watch, for as long as it lasts. Guerrero has some skills, but he's pretty chinny and that's probably why he recently got picked out of the pack by Quillin. No way he can stand up against Lemieux' power, so this should be over in a blink of an eye.
Beterbiev vs Lacy?!?? I know Artur is talented as hell, was an amateur world champ and arguably hits harder than either Stevenson or Kovalev but Lacy this is only like hes 5 fifth.
I don't think Lemieux will unload like he did in the Rubio fight. The Upshaw and Torres fights showed a more progressive approach to get in range so he can land the monster left hooks and straight rights. It might take a while, but I see Lemieux stopping Guerrero. Round 8 or 9.
I think this is a potential setup for a Lemieux-Quillin fight. First there was the talk with Danny Jacobs vs. Lemieux, then they switched to another Haymon MW with Guerrero. This leaves Jacobs open to face Quillin in the summer, maybe even have Lemieux fight once more as well. The question is, would Quillin-Lemiuex be big enough to headline their own card in Montreal or would it be a co-main to Stevenson-Hopkins/Shumenov?
a bit of a step down in the interest stakes, but still will be fun. Lemieux is a good watch regardless of who he fights.
Quillin doesn't have that many options at the moment, so Lemieux isn't that bad of a fight, considering.
My hope of him left when he lost to ALCINE! atsch He is not durable and have been exposed for being a front runner. He doesn't take the heat well when it's dished back out to him, or after he's shot his load. This fight is 50/50 as Guerrero also doesn't come across as tough especially the way he was handled by Brewer. Quillin you can understand but Grady Brewer?
An interesting step up, not as dangerous as it looks on paper though, Lacy has been shot to **** for years and has been mostly inactive since he made RJJ look like he was back in his prime, 5 years ago.
This fight is far from 50/50. Before Brewer Guerrero already needed some gift decisions against Rosado, Duran and Smith, and he had been dropped a couple of times already. I even predicted the Brewer "upset", only I thought Fernando would reach the 2nd half of the bout. And there's the point that Lemieux clearly is Guerrero's poison, a huge puncher with a good chin of his own. So not a 50/50 fight, more like 75/25
Guerrero has definitely not been impressive lately but neither has Lemieux. Maybe Guerrero will get blown out but one thing that is for sure is that Guerrero is much better than the string of bums that Lemieux's team has put together after his back to back losses. And if he can survive the early rounds, things could get interesting. I'm not sold on his chin or durability either (Lemieux).

Jason Naugler...the guy who broke lemieux ko streak and brought him to 10 rnd decision, and Jason Naugler also lost to geurrerro tko 4..... lemieux dont have the best chin, and most his fights end in the first 2 rounds....geurrerro almost all his ko happen in the first 4 rounds.... i anticipate this fight to go nowhere past 5 rounds, the winner is pretty much a coin flip, i would say 60/40 lemieux, whoever lands the bigger shots first i think takes this
