It's clear you have never watched a single Wlad fight and don't even have a grasp for the basic fundamentals of throwing a jab. Wlad's technique is text book and anybody who's seen him knock guys around like ragdolls with his jab knows it has tremendous snap and can and has been used for more than measuring distance.
These guys are nuts. You can hate on Wlad all you want, but claiming his jab has no snap is either trolling or crazy talk. He beats the hell out of people with his jab.
Larry has stated many, many times that Lewis had no jab. If Lennok had no jab, what would that make Wlads. Oh dear, oh dear.:rofl
Larry Holmes doesn't rate anyone's jab, as far as I know. He's within his rights. I wouldn't have Lewis or Wlad among the top 5 all-time jabbers. But they - Wlad especially - seem to be quite effective keeping opponents at bay with a crappy-left-punchy-thing.
As well as staggering them, busting them open, and knocking their heads back in clouds of sweat. Now Valuev, that was a jabber. Here he is demonstrating his technique on A+ Holyfield. Holyfield had an excellent jab. He could pop that thing in rapid succession on his toes, moving in and out, left and right. Now that was a jab.
I don't know, I always got the impression Holyfield just flung his arms out there in the hopes of confusing his opponent. No snap at all.
