I would like to see how Pacman would do against Canelo at 152 lbs. I know he's never ventured up past 150 lbs, but it would be interesting to see how Pacman would do against Floyd's "tailor made" leftovers.

Those tailor made guys has allowed FLoyd to be universally considered a top 10 P4P fighter since 1998. I guess these tomato cans are actually a little bit better than the TS gives them credit for.

Since which comeback? And Alvarez, Guerrero, and Maidana all have different styles. Guerrero is pretty versatile. He can box on on the outside, and he's also an adept inside fighter. Alvarez, is a boxer puncher. He adapts well and is a good counterpuncher as well. Maidana is a swarming pressure fighter with a solid jab.

Who exactly are you speaking about in the bolded part? And I really hope for your sake that you don't mean AMir Khan, the same guy who went life and death with a 5 year past his prime Julio Diaz.

JMM, perfect example of what this thread's about. Picking fights that favour you stilystically

A natural counterpuncher vs another natural, but much smaller counterpuncher, geez I wonder who's gonna win

    Lara, Pac, Bradley, Thurman etc

Pac needs more slow, come forward brawlers with subpar skill in his life

that way he'll always look like a monster

too bad Floyd has Pac already beaten at picking most of them as opponents

Pac is making a mistake rematching Bradley, he should have gone for a Provo match instead

yeah, he's tailor made BUT he has a belt

and we know that's enough to justify a PPV match

Ok, well Keith Thurman shouldn't be mentioned yet as a potential opponent as he's still working his way up to championship level. He's got all the ppotential in the world, but he's still too green and too inexperienced to be considered a possible opponent. Doesn't help whatsoever that he doesn't have any type of established fanbase, but that should change soon enough as long as he continues racking up impressive victories.

No offense man, but do you honestly think Pacman or Bradley can beat FLoyd? I'ma huge Pacman fan, but I never thought he could beat Mayweather- even in 08-09 when Pacman was looking like a beast. FLoyd is a MUCH bugger guy naturally than Pacman, he's taller and holds about a 5 inch reach advantage. If you want to talk about a mismatch, look no further than that matchup.

As for Bradley, who's actually a smaller WW than FLoyd and doesn't hit as hard as him either, I honestly think FLoyd would beat the hell out of him. There's not ONE thing that Tim Bradley does better than Mayweather inside the squared circle. NOT ONE. He'd box his ears off, no question.

I like the idea of Floyd fighting Lara, I think it'd be a helluva fight but I think FLoyd is just a little too quick for Erislandy and would probably beat him by a wide UD. Also, it doesn't help Lara that he doesn't have an established fanbase either. It sucks for these top Cuban fighters, they can't get any big fights and it's because they're high risk/low reward type of guys who bring nothing to the table as far as fanbases goes.

If Lara beats Canelo, he has a good shot to get a fight with Mayweather. Thurman hasn't beaten anyone yet. If he gets a big win or two, he'd be in line to fight Mayweather. We all know about the numerous problems between Mayweather and Arum. Ignoring those problems, I'm not sure why anyone would think Bradley would have much of a shot against Mayweather. He can't KO Mayweather and he can't outbox him. He can only hope to overwhelm Mayweather with volume. We've seen guys like Hatton, N'Dou and Chavev try that and get punished.

Floyd and Mannys competition is equally weak and full of past prime, padded record, hype job boxers with more name value than actual substance. There is no "if" because Pacquiao and Floyd already have fought equally weak competition

At this point I'd give Pacman about a 20% shot at beating Floyd-- his power and handspeed would make him a live underdog.

But Tim Bradley wouldn't have a shot in hell. He's smaller than Floyd with a shorter reach. He'll have to sell out and try to get inside which will be almost as bad as trying to box FLoyd from a distance- Floyd has underrated power and he's actually very strong inside the pocket/while being clinched.

I keep thinking to myself is there ANYTHING that Timmy does better than Floyd? I can't think of one thing at all. And Bradley has never seen a defensive wizard like FLoyd in his lifetime. It would be a beating probably worse than the one FLoyd gave Marquez. It doesn't help any of these fighters that they'd be taking on this version of Mayweather who hasn't been taking his routine annual hiatus after winning a fight. Him fighting twice a year keeps him very sharp and fresh.

I really just don't see anyone from 140-154 having a shot against him. Maybe Lara, but even him I have my doubts that he can actually get to Floyd.

That's just crazy talk man. Simple as that. Both of them are ATG's without a doubt.

If you think they fight past there prime fighters, I wonder what you think of some of the old ATG's who don't have as many HOF scalps under their resume like these 2 fighters have. Marciano gets a love of love for some ill odd reason, but the only big names on his resume are guys who were pushing 40 years old.

Manny and FLoyd have beaten some impressive fighters over their careers and are both well deserving to be classified as true All Time Greats.

Lara likes to keep that wide stance. Lara looks uncomfortable on the inside to me when he has to shorten it up. I have a feeling Mayweather would be able to take advantage of this, as he is a master of controlling distance.

Just my opinion. Would be an intriguing matchup though, that is for sure. But I'm also interested in seeing the Canelo/Lara match as well if it happens.

Completely agree on your points regarding Timmy. Good fighter, but people need to be realistic here.
