tim is arguably the 2nd best welterweight in boxing. losing to him is not shameful and it doesn't mean his career is over. there are still plenty of pay days out there for pac.

Another loss to Bradley would be a sizable negative to Pacquiao's career. Not his legacy, so much, but for what we can expect from the rest of his career. His days on the P4P top ten list would be over.

who wouldn't want to see pac/jmm 5? pac/provodnikov? pac/khan? pac/garcia? pac/thurman? pac/matthysse? pac/maidana? pac/broner? i think he beats khan...but the rest of the fights are tough. he can still make plenty of money. who says you need to be on the mythical p4p list to make good fights?

If Pac wasn't an ATG, I would agree with you.

But he is, so no need to stain a legacy any further.

He really should have retired after KTFO6.

And he should retire if he beats Bradley in the rematch, let alone how obvious retirement should be if he loses.

Pacquiao needs the money, he won't be retiring anytime soon. If he doesn't win, they can still market him.

Pacman will say Ali Raymi told him not to hurt Bradley :|

Bob Arum will take him out of it & claim the devil is back in him....Manny vs Usmani, JMM vs Bradley 2

Then Manny is back with a win :happy

    Manny vs JMM V :dead

    He'll fight on for $.

Tbh a loss would probably make a MW fight happen.

I think it would depend on the manner in which he lost. If it's another controversial decision, than I think he should continue on. If it's a clear cut victory for Tim (which I don't see happening,) than he should give retirement some serious consideration.

As long as Mayweather is still fighting than Pacman should stay active. I still have faith that fight can get made and it would be hard for Pacman to leave without getting that 40 million dollar payday before hanging up the gloves permanently.

Pac won the first fight, easy fight for Pac. Did Mayweather tell the judges to give the fight to Bradley? After Provodnikov damaged Bradley's brain, Bradley will buy running shoes to keep from getting hit, one good punch from Pac and Bradley will go down...................remember, two of the judges resigned after the fight. In one round where Pac landed 2 punches to Bradley's one, the two criminal judges gave that round to Bradley...................Mayweather wanted Pac to lose that fight badly.

    Yes and no.
He could still dominate various other welters not in the top 3, for example a fight with Broner would be huge and he could beat him with only his left arm.
There are other fighters he could fight and beat that would draw huge attention.

He could take the usual 2-3 pre-retirement fights, and still makes big fights.

It would mean Floyd just might be able to finally summon the courage to fight him.

IF it is all about a payday i would agree. But we would have to think that being a fighter was traded for being an old fighter making paydays while he can still, and trying to remain relevant as far as being THE:think top dog of a division goes, yeah?
