Arum slams MGM / Mayweather.... Free publicity for May 3rd.

Earlier today...........

During the end of the press conference, with a stunned Richard Sturm [President of MGM Grand Entertainment] sitting right beside the podium, Arum unleashed his fury.

"I'm not going to say it....the hell with it - I know the Venetian would never make a mistake like this, they knew what fight was scheduled in three or four days and they wouldn't have a 12-1 fight all over the building that's going to take place in three weeks from next Saturday. That's why one company makes a billion dollars a quarter and the other hustles to pay it's debt [referring to the MGM]. There it is, say it like it is," Arum said to a stunned crowd.

A moment earlier, Arum was talking to Bradley near the podium and said - "Why don't you ask the guy who's picture is all over the building on when he's going to fight somebody real." - taking direct a jab at Mayweather. Bradley laughed a replied - "I'll let you ask him that."



IF ONLY UNCLE BOB HAD COMPLETED HIS STADIUM.......... It's no ones fault that you have unsold tickets.... Under cards do count I guess....

Like I said in numerous other threads, if you don't realize that Mayweather and Arum are fooling the public and still making business together youre a ******.

Isn't this the same problem Mayweather had with TR when they managed him?
Mayweather asked for a huge billboard outside the building and cheap Arum refused to make the investment.
Now he's whining that Mayweather promotions making the PR investment and covered the building with Mayweather's picture.

Meanwhile Bradley's the type of fighter who probably never asked Arum to do anything special to hype the fight.

If Mayweather/Arum made a Mayweather-Pac/Bradley fight, Arum would probably want TMT to make all the PR investment.

Arum is mad that Pac/bradley aint selling. Simple as that.

This is the same guy who said MGM Grand was too small to host a Mayweather-Pac fight, then said Pac might never fight in the US again, and took him to China to fight, yet comes back an expects a red carpet.

Arum's stupid.

1. He's stupid for letting Mayweather stick it to him this way

2. For making a big deal of his own incompetence and bringing it to the attention of the whole world.

3. Giving his beer sponsor Tecate's competitor, Corona, free advertising on Tecate's dime.
