The "All Things Mayweather/Pacquiao" Express!!!!!!

It was boiling in 2010, boiled harder than ever in 2011, boiled into pandemonium in 2012 and dried away in 2013. The public were excited, now they're definitely excited when both names are mentioned but nothing like it used to be. Everyone knows the fight was serious and real back in 2010-2011 when Pacquiao looked monstrous in the ring, now he's clearly on the down side and the public know this.

 

Floyd is a praying and a hoping for a Tim win. No doubt. Reminds me of Lennox Lewis sucking up to Corrie Sanders before his bout with Vitali. A Corrie win would take the pressure off the coward Lewis. Alas, his legacy will always be stained by not having a rematch with Vitali. A rematch the HW Division and boxing sorely needed.:deal

They didn't make the fight because Mayweather had his share of demands which he clearly used to kill off negotiations. Every time these guys speak he comes up with a new demand and uses it to tell the public(only fools fall for it and sadly the majority are) "See he doesn't want to fight me!". From take the test to take $40 million while I take all the rest and 100% of the PPV earnings(a demand NEVER heard of before in boxing) to beat Bradley and Marquez to whatever else.

 

i think its all MGM's fault not tr, fmj/gbp. they should consider promoting other venues so MGM will have lesser control in promotion, etc

Floyd may not want the fight, but, Manny has shown he does not want it either. And his promoter did not want it.

Manny could've called Floyd's bluff. However, his ego is probably about as big as Floyd's...despite the "Holy Man" persona he displays in public. So, instead he is fighting rematches with lesser opponents (who might retire him) and taking "the test" for 20 million (instead of $40 (most recent offer) or more (referring to the first negotiations)). SMH. This guy needs Al Haymon as his advisor.

Stop lying to the masses. All Pac had to do was agree to testing PERIOD. Pac wanted a cutoff date as if the testers didn't know when it was safe for the fighters to be at 100%- with their blood being drawn.
