Possibly, but that's a matter of style and Floyd being about twenty pounds bigger than Marquez. Pacquiao is tailor made for Marquez in terms of style and physique. It also didn't hurt that they'd fought so many times. You'd probably see Floyd struggle and have a rough night if he fought Castillo, De La Hoya, or Cotto four times.

Fighters like Carl Froch, Paulie Malignaggi, and Shane Mosley have all said they agree with Floyd's request for additional testing and have each said that if they were Floyd that they wouldn't fight Pacquiao if he continued to refuse random blood testing.

    weights are everything
its not a coincidence that two of the fights you've mentioned were Floyd's only forays at 154
as far as Castillo was concerned, Floyd 'set the record straight' in the rematch, and i'd bet my house on the same result if they fought 10 times after that

    did it include cheating?

alexandria already beat a younger version of madona 12-0 in a 10 round fight, without cheating.

    good right?

    Hahaha

Pacquiao clearly has an * next to it. Don't even care to get into that now. All I have to say is a fear of needles is not a valid excuse for an athlete to turn down random drug testing.

    "Rematch with DLH," oh yeah?

Been over the Kostya network issues; that is well known.

Just tell me when you'd have liked to see a Floyd/Margarito fight and I will tell you that it was either fresh after a Margarito defeat, during Floyds' retirement, or Floyd fighting Oscar de la Hoya being a better fight.

You'd be citing Paul Spadafora as a horrible opponent if he had fought him.

"Prime" Cotto and Mosley when both of them turned him down at the supposed times of the desired meetings (Cotto officially admitted to turning down the contract in 2006 for a JWW showdown)... and Floyd did fight them when they were #1 of their then divisions, too.

Guys 2+ divisions north in Winky and P Dub?

Stevie Johnston is a good shout out. I wish he would have fought him at LW, honestly... But the argument would hold some merit if Floyd didn't fight the guy who had just taken Stevie's title twice.

Congrats at looking up the 1997-2002 Junior Lightweight rankings! Freitas and Casamayor, especially Freitas, had their own promotional hopes and game plan laid out for them.

    ---------------

Every single fighter throughout history ducked every single then-active fighter that they didn't face on every date of every fight they ever had.

I don't know if Floyd/JMM included cheating, as you ask. I don't train with them.

But Floyd/JMM was the last fight Floyd had before demanding random blood testing, so the testing for Floyd/JMM was the exact same as that for Pac/JMM IV. Therefore, the unbiased likelihood of JMM cheating in either of those fights is the same.

Alexander won a shutout or near shutout of Maidana over two years ago over the course of 10 rounds. There were no KD's, point deductions, or overwhelming 10-8 rounds.

EDIT: And don't forget! We don't know if Alexander cheated or not! He has the same unbiased likelihood of having cheated as JMM did in the fourth Pacquiao fight, which you seem convinced he did...

And look at the difference 2 years can make! JMM went from winning zero rounds off of Mayweather in his WW debut to winning somewhere between 6-9 rounds off of Pacquiao in his second WW fight ever despite aging to a point where one would think he would regress! Amazing how results from two years ago can mean so little!

    lmfao.

pedjr hurriedly signed jmm 24hrs before pac-hatton, without specifying what weight class they will fight.

it turned out they will fight at ww and at a c/w.

in effect, jmm would have to go up 2 weight classes (you can specify how many lbs) and pedjr to go down 3 lbs.

this is reminiscent of pac going up 2 weight classes and dela hoya going down 3 lbs (from 150 his previous fight). both honor their commitment.

pedjr didnt honor his end of the bargain.

jmm was cheated of a good opportunity, of a chance of winning.

in my book, pedjr cheated marquez on the scales, more so, he shitted on his own legacy.

then again, that's how pedjr operates. duck any threat, if he cant, bloat them ,drain them or outright cheat them.

    clearer?
