He pulled the curtain of David Price and Odlanier Solis. I am certain his team are talking to some opponents. Who is next for him?

The title of this thread made me think that Thompson exposes himself to people.

In danger of becoming a "who needs him man" No promoter will want him in with a decent prospect. Think he could maybe get another shot at Wlad in a few months then that might be it for him.

Good point. He turned himself into a high risk, low reward opponent that promoters will be wary of.

yup.....crazy, cuz he's nearly as good now as he was when he was KOing Kraznicki.

The man has never wasted a punch. He's also a lot smarter than ppl give him credit for irt to taking shots.....much like Vitali, he leans back when he's taking punishment, and therefore, it takes alot of the steam off the shots.

He's the kindof fighter who would be a top 10 from 30-40yrs old in any generation.

Even at 42, I'd say he's at least 90% of what he was 7-8 yrs ago, and that's a guy who'll beat 80 of the top 100.:thumbsup

im sure promoters looks at his record and think good fighter look at his build and then go good fighter with a name who's slipped a bit... so lets him to fight (insert proespects name here) and oh prospect has just been smacked about the ring. Hes an awkward lefty with a decent chin and decent dig.

He would be a good test for Wilder but he might actually have too much experience and know how for him..

Id favour him over someone like Andy Ruiz jnr who is slowly climbing the rankings despite seemingly not fighting anyone with a great record and being around for ages. Thompson V lucas browne could be fun I think he would be too skilful for Brown and if he can stand up to Price and Wlad for a good number of rounds I could see him stopped Browne. Mike Perez that could be an interesting fight.

I spose the big one that could generate some interest and some $$ is Bryant Jennings but I haven't see anything of him only that he had a decent win last time out and is getting some press

Even Anthony Joshua will destroy the intentionally over-hyped Wlad eternal sparring partner :dead

Wilder's management will never put Thompson in with their fraudulent HW, because they KNOW what would happen to Wilder's glass jaw.

No, at this point, they will go straight for the cash-out against Wlad, or fight another stiff or washed up fringe contender.

Solis was his final fight. TT wont fight for 50K or less and no one will give him that amount of cash.

Thompson's been trying to get a fight with Wilder (see his twitter), but Deontay's handlers won't take the risk. Tony won't take a dive like Malik Scott.
