You clearly don't understand that today is 2014, and 2009 was 5 years ago. A lot has happened since then, things have been said, lawsuits have been filed.

Unless you live in this Fantasy Land where people don't change their opinions of people based on experiences? Do you have the same childhood friends? Was there anybody in life you used to hang with but later realized "Nah, not trustworthy.." ?

"When it was mediated (2009/10 negotiation) by a retired Federal Judge who was a neutral party, Arum stamped his feet, and signed the fight with Clottey. Disgusting. You had an unbiased party, come to a compromise based on both parties requests, and Pacquiao and his team balked. That is reality. And I'm still waiting for people to justify fighting Joshua Clottey over Mayweather given those circumstances. I've yet to hear a single good argument, because it doesn't exist."

They, Pacquiao and Arum, walked away from negotiations. Not Mayweather. And signed a fight against a boxer coming off a loss in only about 3 days. And you have the nerve to say Mayweather "ducked?" Arum and Pacquiao already had an alternate opponent lined up and a contract written. Mayweather needed a catastrophic earthquake in Haiti to find his after AGAIN: Arum/Pacquiao LEFT THE NEGOTIATIONS.

I'm wondering if you people are seriously mentally ******ed in some way. I hate to get insulting and blunt, but there it is. It's like you guys have some logic and common sense deficiency.

No the fight didn't fall apart Floyd backed out at the last minute ..Stop trying to spin it like it was just bad negotiations ! And because Mosley and Hoya were mega stars that's the reasons why Forrest wasn't considered  Had either Mosley or. Oscar accepted Floyd's offer I'm sure he would have moved up he was calling out Wright who didn't have their appeal and who campaigned two divisions north of where he was at ..It's convenient excuses yet again!

But hey look at the guys actions look who he fought at 140 its clear he had no interest in testing himself against anyone else I mean Shamba Mitchell,Demarcus Corley and Arturo Gatti :lol:yeah that's a murderous row right there I'm sure there was no one else to fight right

I couldn't agree more. If you have nothing to hide test prove you're clean beat the person's ass and earn a career high payday. It's a win win.:deal The last think you do is go to court and sue like a little ***** and give all kind of reasons why you can't test that makes you look suspicious. Only to later test for a lower payday against a less dangerous opponent.

Funny but I wonder about people such as yourself and how common sense is lacking for the likes of you !

Like I have stated several times over ! Did Juan Manuela Marquez require as many road blocks to get Manny in the ring ?

It's just another sad list of excuses that keep coming from Floyd defenders that make it difficult to take any of these debates serious !

And you want justification for the Clotty fight :rofl really why did Floyd fight Ortiz and Gurrerro ? Please justify those cherry picks ! The nerve of a Floyd fan asking for justification of any fight !

What does PBF fighting Ortiz and Guerrero have to do with Pac pulling out of talks to fight PBF for a fight with Clottey? Your logic is flawed here. Quit reaching you have no answer for it and have lost this point.:deal

You clearly have a reading comprehension issue. I can't respond to this on a regular basis. Welcome to my ignore list.

    One last lesson:

To re-iterate the points you obviously missed.

    1) "Roadblocks" - A retired Federal Judge mediated the negotiation and came to a compromise based on both parties requests. This was a neutral party, not Mayweather.

    2) "many Roadblocks" Mayweather only made one request: additional PED testing. "Many" implies more than one. You're a lying sack of ****, or just a ******.

    3) "Clottey" -- I never said Clottey was a cherry pick. You want on your rant about that on your own. Again, because you have a reading comprehension deficiency.

    4) "Clottey Contract Signing" - The reason this signing is bad is not because Clottey is a cherry pick. I said at the time I wouldn't fault fighting a guy in the top 10. However, that does not mean you fight that same guy when you're in the midst of contract negotiations to make the biggest fight in over a decade. Which is exactly the situation Pacquiao was in.

    5) "Having a Contract Already Written" - Pacquiao/Bob Arum signed the fight with Clottey after only 3 days when Arum declared the "Mayweather fight was dead." His words. This certainly implies a contract was ready to go with Clottey, and they were not interested in finalizing a deal with Mayweather.

I'm sorry you have a problem with reality, but there it is. A neutral observer and retired Federal Judge mediated the contract, and Pacquiao and Arum walked away. It's as simple as that. Actions speak a lot louder than words.

And welcome to my ignore list. Consider this my last lesson for you, and you should feel lucky that I bothered to respond to your pathetic excuse for a response.
