This really isn't about Mayweather at all, but about Pacquiao. I get the whole " a fighter should sell out every once in a while" to create excitement, but not if it's to the detriment of getting knocked out. This is actually more about stroking the ego of his own fighter, because no sane person would agree with this, and no smart boxer would ever practice it.

How many rematches has Manny Pacquiao fought in his career? Barrera x2, Morales x3, Marquez x4 (5), Bradley x2

Why does Manny need so many rematches if he is clearly superior? How can a guy who struggles 4 times with Juan Manuel Marquez even be perceived as a threat to Mayweather?

Does Floyd fight anything like De La Hoya, Hatton, or Cotto...guys who Manny beat convincingly?

Wouldn't Manny struggle mightily with Floyd's defense? Manny could barely crack Clottey's defense! He could barely get to a withered Shane Mosley? 4 fights in and he still doesn't understand that Marquez is a counterpuncher, Bradley had two broke ankles and Manny still couldn't line him up for clean shots!!

Many say that Manny would of been too much for Floyd to handle in 2009, 2010 but what I recall is his trainer Freddie Roach constantly saying Manny needs 2 or 3 more fights and then he'll be ready for Floyd. Roach was never confident Manny was ready for Mayweather back then. Look up the interviews if you dont believe me!!

Manny in my opinion is too inconsistent in the ring to be a threat to Mayweather, jab jab left, just is not going to work against the best technician in boxing.
