    Round 3

Salazar is moving in and out, tentative. Quintero is slamming big left hooks up high but hitting the back of Salazar's right glove. 1-2 by Salazar, down the pipe. Salazar is caught with a couple of can-opener body shots as he bounces outside after making a pass to deliver a light jab. Salazar is avoiding the hook and ducking or picking off the right hand of Quintero, but not staying close enough to generate much offense himself.

    10-9 Salazar

    30-27 Salazar

He didn't come to lie down, that's for sure. He is hoping to hit a home run with those left hooks.

    Hope he's OK.

Quintero is just getting shaded in each of these rounds. Boxrec indicates this has happened in his previous outings. Gotta be frustrating to continually be in fights where you're competitive with opponents but can't quite get the better of them.

    The truth of Sisyphus, eh?

    Round 4

Salazar is jabbing and taking lateral hops to his left, grinning as Quintero reaches for him with jabs taking lunging steps and windmilling rights onto the body. Salazar is sticking the jab at mid-range but getting swatted with the left hook, bouncing outside. Salazar is jostling his shoulders as he orbits Quintero, dropping in long right hands and flurrying as he leans in. Big shots wound up by Quintero, missing widely. Salazar is ducking and waiting his turn, attacking with heavily inclined right hands, too high.

    10-9 Salazar

    40-36 Salazar

The kid's only twenty. He'll get that first W eventually...and who knows, he might become a super featherweight Don Mouton. (except...without the power...more like a 130lb Zack Page? :!:)
