And the funny thing about that was that it was a legitimately close fight that was closely scored and could have gone either way. It wasn't a robbery.
Woodhall is a class act.... For the Americans who don't really know him he does a lot of punditry in England ... He's also got some sort of role in our amateur set up.. I don't follow the amateur game at all really so couldn't tell you more
I completely agree and, imo, it would make it even sweeter as the message would have more weight to it. A well thought-out letter to the boxing community, stating that ''the judges must've seen a different fight''.
I'd love for a statement like this to be even more than ''simply'' honestly admitting that you lost and/or praising your opponent, by putting the sport as a whole (and its future) before one's own ego to specifically point a finger at some of its most disgusting problems.
So Timothy Bradley should "admit he lost to Pacquiao" and give him the titles back just because you guys don't know how to score a boxing-fight? Hilarious... :rofl It's not enough for you that Bradley gets no respect for a legit victory and a great performance and has to take **** from imbeciles like you?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=BkmL5R24K_U#t=2001 Go to 33 minutes in this video. I know this is MMA but Jackson has admitted he lost a fight on 3 different occasions... Joe Louis congratulated Jersey Joe Walcott and left the ring before the decision was announced in their first fight and had to be persuaded to go back for the judges verdict.
So you and 2 judges only people who know how to score? I see. What happened to your boy against ruslan? Went out on a knee. Waved a white flag and then gets a win?
Not according to Louis, joe denied up and down that he thought Walcott won on the way it was and Walcott was shocked at how he was denying
Timothy is still unbeaten and the no.1 WW in the world, anything else is fairy tales and folklore and I'm tired arguing with people that don't know how to score a fight. Provo would knock Ducky and Pac out on the same night by the way, thats why neither of them will ever fight him.
what you need to understand is that boxing a business. This sport is a "what have done for me lately kind of sports" Your future pay day is dependent on what you've done currently. By publicly admitting that you lost a close decision will encourage judges to award your opponent win in a close fight situation in the future. There is a reason why fighters don't admit to receiving gift decision. They are not stupid as stupid some people assume that they are. The 0 in Tim's record is the reason why he continue to get big fights while earning high paydays to take care of his family. You guys need to let that Pac loss go. It is not the end of the world.
