I just go through listening to a convo with Boza Edwards and some European fella and they got on the topic of maidana. They were talking about how mayweather had no interest in fighting Maidana but when he beat broner, they were like "everyone associates broner to me and so it will be easy to sale to the casual fans that 'this guy has the blueprint to beat mayweather, because he fights just like mayweather.' He also mentioned how khan was complaining to them and they told him that "he just hasnt done ****". He said it was a mismatch for floyd and that Maidana was getting 5M. He went on to explain how astute Floyd was with business. He talked about how arguello vs pryor was so huge in vegas "yet here we are today and pryor lives in an apartment, has no teeth, no family, and not a dime to his name. He mentioned when roger was fighting he set up a trust fund and other investments and Floyd does the same and how it benefits him to cut promoters out.
