I'm pretty sure Dirrell admitted defeat against Abraham. "I lost man, I lost" something along those lines..

admitting? nothing wrong with it. Better than making excuses when it is obvious they lost conclusively. But I do understand pride.

Ali admitted defeat after one of his robbery-decisions over Norton IIRC.

yeah, I don't remember what he said, but the commentator asked him something like "What happened in there" and Dirrell responded along the lines of "I got knocked the **** out man" :rofl

I think you're right about that. I think it was the third one. I think he said he thought he lost even immediately after the fight.

Ray admitted it many years later.
When Tommy was asked straight after the fight " Do you think Ray was Lucky to get the draw" Tommy replied " I aint going to say anything bad about Ray'' He knew along with everyone who witnessed that fight that he had erased the torment of their first meeting.

Ricky Burns admitted he shouldn't have won against Beltran and even looked like he was refusing the belt immediately after it.
