Vargas counters with sharp left jabs and his own 1-2, occasionally squatting and slapping the body. Headbutt. Allakhverdiev is cut on the right cheekbone. Time in. Right hand lead by Vargas, glancing high on the skull. Allakhverdiev presses in and throws flurries up into Vargas' chest, mostly left uppercuts and short right pokes. Vargas counters with 1-2s and orthodox left uppercuts and stays off the ropes.
