    Round 9

Allakhverdiev is coming straight at Vargas with the right jab. Vargas leads him around the ring, keeping centered and balanced and sticking the left jab while never staying still. Time out, cut looked at. Time in. Allakhverdiev is throwing left uppers behind the right jab and pressing in. Vargas counters with one-twos, deliberately targeting Allakhverdiev's cuts on the right cheek and over the left eye. HARD chopping left behind a jab by Allakhverdiev. Vargas puts out a stiff jab into the shredded face of Allakhverdiev and sticks a right on the body.

    10-9 Vargas, close

    88-83 Vargas

Good round again. Russian wins that one.

5-4 for Vargas. This one is going to come down to the wire.

These rounds are really close. You can make a case for either guy winning at this point.

5-4 Allakhverdiev on my card. Landing the better shots in a lot of these rounds. That said, I wouldn't argue with a scorecard in favor of Vargas.

Wow. Rarely are we this far apart...but you're right, this one has featured many close and debatable frames.

I was rooting for Allakhverdiev heading in, too - just don't think he is producing enough in the course of each three minutes.

Should Pacman destroy Bradley via a Hatton like destruction it will put pressure on Floyd, don't you think???

    Round 10

Allakhverdiev is urgently walking Vargas down with the right jab, knowing his time is running out with those cuts. BIG right hooks by Allakhverdiev. Vargas tries holding him off with jabs but is forced to hop quickly outside. Allakhverdiev chases him nearly into a corner, doubling up on the hard right hook upstairs.

    10-9 Allakhverdiev

    97-93 Vargas
