Seems like a sad attempt to get back at Mayweather for promoting his fight in Vegas

On one side I see where Bob is coming from, the MGM shouldnt have had Mayweather banners when the Pac fight was on but at the same time Bob could have paid to have Pacs banner put up instead

As far as boycotting Mayweather/Maidana should we also boycott Pacquiao's fights aswell? the Rios fight is the only fight of pacs i havent seen live (starting from his war with Marquez) purely because weve seen how Pacquiao fights against that kind of fighter. (Margarito, Hatton) both come forward fighters with 0 defense like Rios who just want to brawl which gives Manny the perfect opponent to look good against by throwing off a combo then stepping out, rinse ans repeat

Pacquiao has always had trouble with guys who move on the outside (Bradley 1, Marquez 1,2,3,4, Mosley) and as much as i love the fout fights with Dinamita i have 0 interest in it seeing how Marquez is pushing 40 he should have just retired after the pac win. belt or no belt

I for one am going to be staying up til 5am to watch the Mayweather card as it has a decent undercard with Khan/Collazo and Broner/Molina which is a damn sight more interesting than seeing Beltran fight a superfeather weight or Vargas fight a paper champ for what is essentially an interim belt

Arum could have had Alvarado/Marquez as the chief supporting bout with Vargas taking on Viktor Postol or Rios/Angulo (Fernando) but his stable has withered so much over the years hes struggling to put together in house fights to maximise the profits . . . . its stupid

Floyd Mayweather is at home saying "CHA-CHING!!!" Because the promoter of Manny Pacquiao has spent the past 48 hours talking about Floyd Mayweather May 3rd fight. And this is supposed to be a smart businessman? He just put together a shitty fight card, already talkiing about a 5th fight with JMM and spent all weekend talking about Floyd's fight in May. And he wonders why Floyd left him and is now the highest paid athlete in the World.

    SMMFH!!!

 So Pac isn't a come forward fighter with no defense?:rofl

Freddie said Timmy hurt Manny in the 4th round tonight. Pac said Rios hurt him. What do you think Mayweather will do to him? #GoToSleepHoe:deal

Talk is cheap. Tell the rich coward to stop fighting overmatched slow opponents and get in the ring.

It's not a bad idea until Mayweather fights opponents that people wants him to fight.

"We're going in a different direction," Arum told the Grand Rapids newspaper. "What I believe is that Floyd never really wanted the fight and this is just harassment of Pacquiao.

"We appeased Mayweather by agreeing to a urine analysis at any time, and blood testing before the press conference and after the fight. Mayweather pressed for blood testing even up to the weigh-in.
    This content is protected
This is just harassment and, to me, just signaled that he didn't want the fight."

    NOW STFU and #GoToSleepHoe

Don't be so defensive. Rios after being KTFO is a calculated opponent. Some are even thinking that Pacquiao was finished and Rios would see to it.

Now if Mayweather has fought even someone like of Bradley's caliber, then we could shed some $ for him but he always picks opponents who moves straight forward to him.

that's why bradley connected only around 22% (compubox) of his shots and that would be counting shots that landed on Pac's gloves. Meanwhile Mayweather is feasting on GBP zombies like Maidana, Guerrero and Ortiz. Maybe Khan is next.

Floyd is a boxing genius because he knows exactly who is beatable or not. He sees things in a boxer we don't see. Floyd will never fight someone that is risky to his health.

I'm not taking anything away from Pacquiao but I think most people are not realizing that boxers like Floyd come around once in a lifetime.

Every unbiased boxer I meet feels this way. What actually frustrates boxers is that we can't study or emulate Floyd. He sets traps and picks at least 3 steps ahead, you'll only notice after reviewing the tapes about 3 times. He doesn't have a style, rather he boxes the opponent. So he adapts and adjusts to his opponents habits and behaviors mid fight.
You can't teach this. You're just born with it.

Besides Castillo 1 (had Floyd winning by 3), which he came back and whooped his ass, have you ever been like .."I don't know that was really close", "man Floyd's face is f'ed up?" No - because he's making boxing's next stars look average. The fact that he never needed a 4th fight with anyone to prove he won the first fight and has never gotten close to being knocked out, and that today's 2nd biggest star and one of the greats had to and has gotten knocked out multiple times just shows why boxers envy him.

**** - Pacquiao is great and I love him. But please witness greatness, relish it than regret it. A LOT of people back in the 90s took Jordan and Gretzky for granted and came to realize they were arguably the GOAT. You may hate his "money" persona but purely as a boxer, beyond skin color, and personality, he is fxcking sick.

Please come up with why you don't think so and don't say because he hasn't fought Pac. Pac needs Floyd just as much Floyd does to seal any doubts.
