Well how many guys have you seen put Bradley or Rios down? He hurt Bradley 3-4 times last night and one of which he was seriously hurt. Like Ruslan said yesterday when interviewed, "Manny hits VERY VERY hard and is capable of KOing just about anyone he gets in the ring with". I just think he is not setting down on his punches as much since the Marquez KO.

Yes, he seems more cautious/tentative now than before. I thought he had a chance to get Rios out of there, but backed off.

well, you can always watch hype trains like Khan, Berto or Dirrell speed up and horribly/hilariously crash unexpectedly

say what you want about FLoyd and Manny, but both guys are one of the few remaining greats currently in boxing, and I do believe they will be soundly missed once they're gone, similar like people began to cry that the HW division is **** after Lewis, arguably the last great HW champion, retired

Come on son. Give it up. After watching Manny last night, i hope Floyd continues to duck. Reason being, Manny has faded to around 60-70% of his best, Floyd however is still at 80-90% of his best.

I hate to say it but after last nights performance, Floyd beats Manny by a lopsided decision. Mannys speed (yes it was good, but not what it used to be), power and granite chin is no longer there. His speed was matched by Bradley at times. His defence was not as sound as is once was, he was counter punched at will. A shot from Bradley had Manny stunned in the fight...if Bradley can do that, then so can Floyd.

There is a time and place to let a fighter be. I no longer think Manny is able to rush Floyd and KO him. He sure as hell is not going to outbox him. As hard as that is to say, it is the truth.

Manny is still an ATG and will provide much more entertainment over the coming year or so before retiring. However, his time of dethroning Floyd, has been and gone.

:rofl:lol::patsch Here is a questions about boxing superstars that even casuals know, Joe was not anywhere near that status outside of UK, so dont post bull****, he was pretty irrelevant even when he was milking WBO belt, he was never WORLD superstar.
Talking about faces of boxing and you bring up Joe:patsch he is maybe face of cocaine, face of boxing never.

So a marble sized lead ball and a beach ball with equal weight are the same size?

Only a simpleton or a ***** will try to dismiss the dimensions of a fighter and put the total basis of size on fight night weight.

'Size' is a multi dimensional term in which weight is but a dimension, not the be all end all.

mannys feet and lead right hand are still really quick. watching last nights fight anytime manny wanted to land that lead right he did and it would stop bradley in his tracks and it hurt him a number of times and bradley is notorious for having a granite chin. Floyd will not be able to take those shots as many times as bradley did and as the fight wears on floyd would be in trouble. not saying he would lose but it would be a fight that would test floyd big time. Anyone that thinks Floyd would just walk through manny is seriously underestimating what manny is still capable of. And those of you saying Floyd ko`s manny in 8 rounds are absolutely delusional! With that foot movement and lead right i think manny pulls of the upset by late stoppage. i dont think floyds father has the stomach to watch his son take punishing shots round after round.
people say the key to manny beating floyd is high volume of punches i disagree. lead lefts and moving to his right away before can unload the right hand is the first thing manny can do. when floyd tries to adjust manny should start pumping that jab to the chest and head. anytime he snaps floyd head back you pounce with a quick combo then move away. As round go by manny can start unloading the lead right more often and his speed to do so is going to keep floyd back on his heels. manny lands that lead right then moves to his right and follows it with the straight left and he will give floyd problems.
Floyd can counter all this by taking the fight to manny and fighting more offensively but its high risk and im not sure floyd can fight like that. itd be a great fight and we all deserve it. and seeing how the first half of this year is turning out to be a great year in boxing as far as matchups what better way to end the year or kick off the fall?
