If I had a favorite fighter... it would probably be Canelo

I don't have a favorite fighter, but this guy is unreal. Now, to be clear I do not think he is the best... He isn't even top 2 in his weight class... but this guy fights who the fans want.

Every Canelo hater said he was fighting bums and that he would never fight Trout... and he did.... in Trouts prime. He eeked out a decent win in a fight that, judging by the scorecards, he wasn't going to lose anyway. Still, props to him for taking the fight and doing enough to win.

He fought Mayweather. Now the catchweight was beyond ******ed for Canelo to take but he did, so that is on him. He lost almost every round, but most rounds were more along the lines of Mayweather doing enough to win, but nothing spectacular. Canelo should have won an award for worst gameplan ever though.

Angulo. Most thought this would be a wipeout and it was. I actually thought Angulo would eventually wear Canelo down. Angulo was shot in that fight but I give Canelo respect for fighting a legit, hard hitting Jr Middle.

Now he is fighting Lara, and once again I am betting against Canelo. Him taking on Lara right now is such a f*cking boss move. All the props to him for this, and if he wins he has earned the hype surrounding him.

Bottom line is that Canelo is already a star, and that is traditionally where others start getting favorable matchups and avoid guys they should be fighting. Canelo could still be fighting D level comp and making more money than 80% of the fighters but chooses not to.

I'm not sure what to think of Broner... on one hand, he took that beating like a boss, getting up twice and still fighting back...but he also acted like a bytch by flailing on the ground, running out of the ring, and worse...that classless sh*t he does inside and outside the ring.

Dude can box... he needs to get his head right. I don't hate him, but Jesus I must have watched that Maidana fight 7 times already. He had that coming. Lets see if he gets past this.

i understand the rock star life style he was living. he is a man child and has some growing up to do. he is also kinda hard headed as well but he's not a bad dude. but at the same time i know hes not for everyone, some people dont like his rapper/ entertainer persona and i get that. but i did not like to see fans throwing items and spitting on him after his fight with maidana. i think if you like a fighter or not, there should be a level of respect fans give to fighters just because of what they do in the ring.

broner is an american and he sure as hell was not treated like one in america fighting a foreigner. i guess what he does is really that evil huh :huh
i know him a little better then most around here so i tend to take up for him a lot. but hes not a bad person just rich and immature.
