First let me start by saying that this was a very close fight and a close decision either way would be reasonable. A couple observations: First, similar to their first fight Manny's work rate was pitiful, how can he expect to win rounds where he waits until the closing ten seconds to throw punches? What exactly was Bradley's gameplan? Had he just committed to boxing he could have easily won this fight. He fought like a complete ******* with his stupid Ricardo Mayorga impersonation. What in the hell is Max Kellerman seeing? His love affair with PAC clearly clouds his judgement. Neither fighter was hurt during this pillow fight, and Kellerman stated on 4 different occasions that Bradley was hurt. Kellerman has rendered himself completely useless and did that same **** during the first fight. Just because the crowd oohs and ahs does not mean ****. If a punch is blocked than its blocked despite what the hometown crowd thinks. I found it very difficult to give PAC a round during the first half of the fight. In round 2 PAC landed 1 effective punch during the entire round, that straight left, but was that enough to win that round? My card: Round 1 10-9 TB Round 2 10-9 TB Round 3 Even Round 4 10-9 TB easy Round 5 10-9 TB easy Round 6 10-9 TB (PAC took this round off as usually, his work rate was ****, yet merchant gave him that round) Round 7 10-9 PAC (his best round by far, he fought a complete round and dominated) Round 8 10-9 PAC (Bradley looks completely shot at this point) Round 9 10-9 PAC (PAC is taking over this fight while Bradley clowns and pisses the round away) Round 10 10-9 PAC Round 11 10-9 TB finally starts boxing and squeaks out this round. Round 12 10-9 PAC Bradley escapes 115-114 due to Manny's **** work rate and diminished aggression. Overall disapointed in the 59.99 purchase. The 118-110 card was a complete ****ing joke.
No one gives a ****. It's done with, Pacquiao won the rematch and lost the first. Rejoice and hoist the sails. Travel the seas until you find the hanging gardens of babylon and dance the dance of life until tears of happiness flow down your face.
This dude just called me a ****** instead of countering my opinion. This forum is just getting worse everyday too many classless casual fans.
I just watched the fight because I worked graveyard last night and I am giving my opinion. Why is everyone getting so butt hurt about it. If you don't have any input just **** off and read another thread.
1st fight i had 9rds to 3rds for pacquiao 2nd fight i had 7rds to 5rds for pacquiao pacquiao did better in the 1st fight or tim did better in the 2nd fight how ever you want to flip it.
I can't argue with 7-5 PAC, there were a few rounds that could've went either way. PAC just wasn't his best Saturday night, the few combinations that he did throw in the first half of the fight were mostly blocked, he did turn it on during the second half though. Bradley worked the body well in the first half but his Hail Mary approach later in the fight was absurd.
was it really absurd ? because we all knew bradley was not going to get the decision if it was close. so bradley trying to win the fight when for the kos. but i think he wanted to get pacman's respect and he knew he had to drop or hurt pacman bad if he could not get the ko. from what i could see he was doing just that. he hit pacman with a straight right that levitated his ass, but tim got tired throwing everything into his punches early on and got tired and could not keep up the pace he had in the fight. but the 1st few rds i was thinking timmy got this.
rounds 2 and 5. I'll tell you this though, I didn't see all of round 2. I only saw the last minute and kind of just scored it based off what everybody else was saying. Other than the first 2 minutes of the second round, I saw the entire fight
But Bradley is not a heavy puncher, and so he was completely out of his element and paid for it later in the fight. When he was the aggressor and worked the jab and the body he was winning. As soon as he got into retreat mode and started pot shot'n PAC started to take over, maybe your right he probably felt he couldn't get a decision, and apparently not with one judge giving PAC 10 rounds.
