Alvarez was drained as ****. He couldn't even make 154 the fight after. Those 2 lbs. hurt canelo bad.

Bradley - slick, black, on his very prime/peak, undefeated and top p4p fighter by virtue of opposition beaten.

Canelo - not black, tries to be slick, still green, undefeated, possibly drained and p4p status is more because of GBP's hype and ownership of Ring Mag than actual competition.

oh yes floyd will beat manny but he will get hurt too and that's what floyd is trying to avoid. he said he is not scared but smart because he cares for his health.

Bradley was universally recognized as p4p top 5. Some had him as high as #2. He was coming off a career defining win against an ATG.

Canelo was not ranked p4p top ten by most. If he was in the list he was at the bottom of the top ten. He was coming off a career defining win against a solid, yet not even nearly HOF — let alone ATG — fighter in Trout.

Both were undefeated on the books. Though, most would say Canelo was the only one undefeated in actuality. Bradley was undraw. Canelo was not.

Alvarez fight was at a catchweight, Bradley fight was not.

Mayweather's win over Alvarez was probably more decisive points wise than Pacquiao win over Bradley, but less decisive in terms of physical damage done. Both were decisive wins.

Conclusion: All things considered it's not even close that the Bradley win is much better.

Really and your backing Pac Bradly ? :patsch

The second fight was even more strange then the first . Its not so much what Pac did in this fight, but what Bradley didn't do ..

Im not even sure if Bradley tried to win after round 4.. The man was swinging wildly looking at the floor, hopping to land a lucky shot..

The Bradley version that fought last night would easily lose to Marquez easily !!

    @eltirado

I really believe it has more to do with a loss in speed moreso than power. Let's face it, Pacquiao campaign at 147, in terms of guys he put down, had more to do with speed and workrate than power. Even a punch that doesn't pack much power is harder when you don't see it, good examples of this are Mosley and Pacquiao, when they fought Mayweather, and when Pacquiao fought Mosley. When Mosley landed that right on Mayweather, he never saw it coming, and when Pacquiao floored Mosley, he too, never saw the punch. Not saying those punches were not hard, but it was the speed of he punch that was the power.

Hold on Marquez is no more ranked greater then shane then shane over marquez ..
Alverez has fought at 152 on more then one occasion, so it does not matter if he had the fight taken place at 154 Alverez would have still been out boxed.

The Bradley that showed in the ring May 12 would easily lose to Marquez and Floyd.

You can not say the same for Pac and Bradley beating Alverz both get Sparked inside the distance, Bradley more so by Round 5 or 6.

pacman can punch and some can take it and some cant. but dont go in there seeing how many you can take, just know when you have to eat few shot you can digest them and not cough it up. i think some of pacman stoppages are circumstantial like the cotto stoppage. it's not the shakes though, he was stopping the bigger men and fighting life and death with fighters his own size besides hatton. pacman has the same power but its not one punch ko power and has never been.

Pac's "god-like power" peaked at JrWW.
He still has very decent power in WW for sure, but it's not like that of Duran's wherein even jabs feel like anvils hitting your face and body.

Pac's power comes from 2 things:

    1. His ability to punch in "angles" or in short, dishing out punches his opponents can't see. Countering/beating his opponents to the punch falls in this category.

    2. Speed. The amount of impact a punch generates has speed (or more appropriately, acceleration) as a factor.

This gif right here is a good example:

    http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_zz3p63WSXZE/TN92JzMwWZI/AAAAAAAAAQw/4Z-Rgz5HsYc/s1600/9.gif

Notice that it wasn't hard enough to knock Margo down, but it stunned him pretty good because he didn't see the counter coming, plus the sheer speed of the hook adds to the force it generates. (watch how the force of the punch travels up to Margarito's upper back)
To say he has "average" power in WW though is pure hating.

wtf you talking about. pacquiao never really had power in the upper weight class. Hatton was the only guy he ktfo. Hatton was coming back in the 2nd til he got caught. People that pacquiao used to spar with always said that pacquiao's speed and angles was what got them, not his power. It's what you dont see that hurts you. Freaking christ guys go to a boxing gym and train!!!! and you'll realize that theres different types of power in boxing.
