Canelo is a bigger guy harder hitter, it's the tougher fight IMO.

Pacquiao from 2010-2011 would be a 50/50 fight for Mayweather and I would pick Pacquiao to beat him. Right now Pacquiao isn't the same, it's more of a 70%-30% now in favor of Mayweather.

It's clear the big 2 are on their way out. Certainly Pacquiao who's showing massive signs of wear and tear.
But who's out there that can take the crown?

Canelo might not be good enough. Broner certainly isn't good enough and seen as a joke by many at this point. Bradley misses charisma and with his row of razor thin decisions going his way until Saturday night you can't expect dominance from him either.

Do we have to look past Americans and Mexicans who can bring a spark to the US market like Pac has done?

Who will it be, if anyone?

    Interesting question.

Wlad, Pacqiauo and Mayweather are the top draws in boxing, with these gone, we could lose a large amount of interest.

At least with the Eastern European audience, we've got very good replacements with Kovalev and Golovkin. For me, the jury is out on Lomachenko at the moment until he gets more fights under his belt. Provodkinov is a dnagerous fighter, but i dont think he'' be a top of the food chain kinda guy like GGG or Kovalev. (And whatever happened to Pirog?)

I dont know how high in esteem asian fans particularly Filipino fans hold Donaire? (who could be seen as some sort of replacement for pacman).

I cant think of any afro-american fighter that will really capture the publics imagination like a Tyson, Ali, or even Mayweather. Theres always Wilder, but i think hes gonna get 'Priced' once someone checks that chin.

Gary Russell looked promising, but i cant remember the last time he fought?

Ward seems to be like Froch and to a certain extent like Calzaghe is in the UK, he wont get any credit until the end of his career.

I think Bradley will dominate after Pac/Mayweather, depending on how that loss affected him.

Rigonedeaux is a good boxer, with his ****iness (i am the best boxer ever) he could take that 'heel' position that will be vacated by Floyd, but hell need to improve on his English if he really wants to reach a wider audience.

Groves and Degale both **** me off. Froch is finished but Ward will be around for a while yet

Garcia is a good all rounder, but his dad puts people off. And i dont think he has the persona or appeal to really become a crossover star.

With the Mexican fans they've got Canelo to root for and Canelo seems to be a good smarter fighter, apart from Golovkin, i dont see anyone else beating him down there. If Canelo could speak English i think he'd be more popular, i cant think of anyone who became an international boxing star and not be able to speak english, i could be wrong? (maybe JMM, he has very broken english)

I know might have offended some people by breaking it down racially, but the way i see it is, most, if not all fighters are primarily followed by fans of their own race, some greater fighters transcend this and are followed by a much larger international audience, guys like Ali and Tyson etc.

To me, the 2 guys who will take over boxing will be Golovkin and Canelo

and by the way **** Broner

An adjusted-to-12-rounds Vasyl Lomachenko and Guillermo Rigondeaux.
Both need to prove they are better than Manny, they haven't had enough experience/challenges yet.

theres lot of good young fighters coming through.

The 2 ready made ones are Mikey Garcia and Canelo.

Anthony Joshua could be something special given a couple of years.

He also dropped Marquez and broke his nose, Marquez suffered a concussion after the fight despite being the winner. Rios was nothing but a heavybag literally trained to take beatings. Bradley's chin is first class, you might want to give him credit there rather than giving Ariza credit.

It's his promoter, he literally pays him to find and promote fights for him. Unlike Mayweather, Pacquiao has another career out of boxing.

Because Mayweather most likely has Khan set as his next hopeless opponent.
