Ok, that's what I'm trying to say.

Of course we have Loma, Golovkin, Rigo, Kovalev and such, but is the US market really ready for a bunch of former commies? Cause if you want to make waves, you need to make them in the US.
All of them already get hated on by a lot of US and UK fans. Rigo got run of HBO for being too 'boring', and Loma got laughed at for losing a close but clear decision in his 2nd against a guy who's know as very hard to beat and who punched him in the nuts all night.

Oh god just hoping Mayweather doesn't choose Khan as his next opponent because there has been articles saying Mayweather may fight Khan in his last few fights.

Pacquiao fought Margarito who is about 17/18 pounds bigger than him and pounded Margarito worst than Mayweather pounded Canelo. it doesn't mean that it's a better win than Pac's win over Cotto.

I dont see any 'star' as such, there will be lots of good boxers, Canelo, GGG, Rigondeaux etc, but none of them will have that international appeal that reaches the worldwide audience. If Golovkin and Canelo could speak English they'd come the closest.

I do see a potential super fights brewing with Ward/Golovkin and obviously Kovalev/Stevenson. And in the next few years it will probably be the biggest fight that can be made, but i doubt it will catch the interest of the general public like Tyson/Lewis, Ali/Frazier or Pacman/Mayweather, (if/when it happens).

Fury/Wilder might be a big fight a few years down the line, if both stay on track.

    Broner tried but failed

    **** Broner.

Oh come on. Rios and Bradley possess two of the toughest chins out there. I'm sure they got hurt against Pac but they were able to take it.

Oh and with the exception of Hatton, most of his KO's in the higher weight classes have been from accumulation (Diaz, DLH, Cotto). His one punch KO's were mostly in his days in the lower weight classes, but even so his KO's vs Barrera and Morales were also accumulation.

    - Pacquiao agreed to a lesser purse split.
    - Pacquiao agreed to a 14 day cut off.
    - Pacquiao agreed to fight where ever Mayweather wants to fight.

Mayweather will always be known to be the man who ducked the ''LITTLE FILIPINO''.

By the way Mayweather also admits that his team hand picks his opponents.

Golovkin might be able to do it if he works on his English a bit more. He's a likable guy, so the US fans might embrace him more in the future, especially if he stays exciting in the ring.

    Thurman, maybe?

Pacquiao himself says he wants Mayweather and we all know that Mayweather is his own boss.... so obviously its Mayweather that is ducking!

When it comes to excuses and saying things coming from their own mouth, it's Mayweather has fear over Manny Pacquiao... just watch all the youtube videos... he was scared of his health when it comes to Pacquiao.

Lol, actually top rank (I.e bob arum) pays manny. Do you know how boxing works my friend?

Would you have 'another career out of boxing' if you could make 500-600m from boxing like floyd? Perhaps if manny concentrated on his boxing career and those advising him he wouldn't be in financial strife

Why are you bringing up Mayweather? I love both Pac and May but this topic has nothing to do with Floyd.

Alvarez was a lost kid against Mayweather... he was a walking zombie who didn't even try to win the fight.

I wouldn't be surprised if Lara defeats Alvarez.... it will just show that he was Over hyped.

I'm a bigger fan of Mayweather than Pacquiao but the win over Bradley is by far the better win, Bradley is an elite undefeated, proven champion.

Pacquiao's resume is unmatched in this era.

There's so much wrong with this view I don't know where to begin. 'Skilful' as Bradley are you nuts. Bradley gets caught a lot, he's a bit of a slugger who grinds opponents down with his stamina.
Did floyds legs look slow to you against canelo??? Looked pretty quick to me. As quick as they've ever been. As for PAC v cotto. Cotto was fighting manny at a catch weight. He was more drained. guerro is not a slow opponent, hatton wasn't slow, Ortiz wasn't slow. Etc etc. can you honestly say rios was a skilful opponent?
