I don't get it, why does Floyd have to call them? He signed the first contract and even called Pacquiao personally in 2011. Whether his 2012 offer was bogus or not, Pacquiao failed to renegotiate or counter offer. Arum is saying this because he knows Floyd doesn't chase opponents or call anyone out. And people buy what Pacquiao is selling about his phone line, he can say whatever he wants, Pacquiao doesn't negotiate.

I want to see the fight badly as well.

I wonder if FLoyd has some kind of actual contract with Goldenboy to be his co-promoter? He's been saying for years he's his own boss, yet every fight he has is always co-promoted with GBP rather than being a solo TMT promotion.

This cold war doesn't look like it'll be ending anytime soon and as of this moment I think the fight would be hard to make.

Who would televise the fight? HBO or SHowtime? I know they were able to make share a Tyson PPV years ago, but as of this moment the 2 networks haven't done a "merged" type of PPV in well over a decade.

How would the co-promotion work for the fight? It would essentially be TR, GBP and TMT promotions.

I hope it gets made because aside from the fact the greatest fight in over 10 years is going to finally happen, it'll open communication again between the rival networks. It could really help bridge the relations between TR and GBP.

I don't think it'll get done though, FLoyd hates Arum and he's mentioned he owes him a few million dollars still from the Gatti fight. If FLoyd was his own actual boss and had no ties to GBP, than I don't see why it shouldn't have happened. I think there was more of a chance for this fight to happen when FLoyd was an HBO PPV fighter.

    GGG of course.

However, I severely doubt that GGG who is fighting at 168 in his next fight would be able to make it down to 154.

What was the point of your question?

Are you saying beating GGG wouldnt be a bigger win than Bradley?

How are Mayweather's statements any different from Arum stating the fight gets made immediately if Mayweather signs with 50 Cent or Don King and that he'll never let Pacquiao fight anyone with Golden Boy again?

They are feeling the heat though lmao. Damn for once they want me to say, Blizz can't you just accept that Pac won, lmao. I accept that part. But is Pac's win over Bradley better than anything Floyd has done??? Nah, I don't accept that part. I see why you hate me alts, lmao. I see why.

You guys hung up on a $40 million offer and never called back last time, Bob........
You walked away in early 2010 and signed a contract with Joshua Clottey, Bob......

Do you have a phone Bob? Perhaps if you humbled yourself and apologized for publicly slandering the man, you might be able to get a business deal done. Generally speaking Bob, you can't call people a coward in the media and then expect them to work with you.

The main point of my counterargument is this: Canelo was a dangerous fighter and a very good win, but the value of that win doesn't get better or worse as time goes on regardless of what Alvarez does in the future. The version Floyd beat is the version he beat.

Canelo was a younger, bigger, talented fighter who was also a couple pounds below his best weight and was inexperienced at the championship level. He was still a bit green.

As he hits his prime years, fills out in to a full grown middleweight, and accumulates championship experience, he will almost certainly become a better fighter. What he becomes has no effect, better or worse, on the version that lost to Floyd. He had the chance to learn and improve after the boxing lesson.

The 152 catchweight also won't look good if Canelo can never make 154 again, which is a distinct possibility.

Possibly because Arum broke off negotiations and lied about what happened in 2009-2010 and has spent the remaining period dragging Mayweather's name through the mud while also using it to promote Pacquiao's fights?

If I recall Pac walked out on him, not the other way around. Pac duck was bigger then Bowe ducking Lewis. If Pac really want the fight he would tell Arum to step aside.
