Of course.. Everyone wants to fight Floyd.. Everyone also know that if you want to fight him, you have to win, have people who think you can win, and agree to his terms.. A asked a question that went unanswered one day.. Maybe you can help me out...

In 2009, put every boxer from 140-154 in a field or something.. Put Floyd Mayweather on a speaker and have him say "you have to take USDA random blood test to fight me.. If you don't have a problem with that, move to the left.." How many boxers would still be standing there with Manny Pacquiao?

We don't know the ins and out of the previous negotiations. If Floyd wanted it he would say he does when he gets asked about it, which is in almost every interview. In interviews 2010-2014 he says he doesn't want to fight Pac and then gives one of many excuses why. He hand picks his fights because everybody wants to fight him but Pac is never in the running.

Why do people even care anymore? Pac probably wouldnt win now, Floyds legacy is already damaged.

The fight should have happened 4-5 years ago. It didnt. Honestly its better this way. If he wouldnt fight PAC in his prime, he shouldnt fight him at all.

    Its simple.

You put the Bradely that fought Pac the other night in against The Canelo that fought Floyd, Canelo would win...and he would win easily.

So knowing this( That Canelo would pretty much destroy Bradley), how can you say that Pacquiaos win is better than Floyds win over Canelo???

Canelo was the MUCH tougher opponent!

Floyd and Pac are both small WW's.

I cant even understand your argument.

If you admit that Bradley would get beaten pretty easily by Canelo, how can you say that fighting Bradley is teh tougher fight???

I ferel like im taking crazy pills!

Pacquiao was a 1/3 favorite against Bradley.

Do you think he would be a 1/3 favorite against Canelo?

That alone is the absolute answer to the original question

Floyd speaking to Pac directly, offering him 40 mill, should be more then enough for those to see, he wants nothing to do with ARUM. Floyd has mad two attempts to fight Pac and Pac turnt them both down.

The answer to who ducked who is simple... remove the *******s, *****s, keyboard warriors and anyone not known, important or famous then make a list of the boxers, trainers, sports commentators, celebrities, athletes and anyone who has ties to boxing and know the inside stuff then tally who said who ducked who. guess who gets the way longer list?

*****s = believe pac is ducking
*******s = believe floyd is ducking
those who know the inside stuff and are actually connected to boxing = say floyd is ducking

so if you are not an insider what you believe is only your opinion but it doesn't make it true.

Pac says he agreed to drug testing, Floyd said he didn't. We don't know the facts of it, people usually base their opinion on whether they prefer Floyd or Pac. No one KNOWS if either Pac or Floyd have ever used PEDs or not.

Like most people I just want to see it happen but until Floyd wants it, it won't, and it doesn't look like he's going to change his mind anytime soon since he can pick any other boxer he wants and all say yes when he comes calling.

You contradicted yourself. First you say the value of the win shouldn't change but then you say if Canelo never fights at 154 again the value will change.

Look, the fighters fight the guy in front of them. That's it. They don't fight the resume or the fighter's future. But throughout boxing what a fighter is before and after a particular bout gets factored in. People expected Mosely to be a bigger threat against Mayweather b/c of what he had just done to Margarito. If Chico would have recovered from the Mayweather fight with an undefeated record and multiple championships in multiple divisions people would reflect on that fight with Mayweather very differently. People argued that Mayweather's victory over Marquez was better after Marquez KOd Manny.

It isn't quite fair because a fighters performance changes fight to fight more than over a span of fights. When I rank wins, I try to do it looking at that particular fighter the day he fought, but the past and future always end up being factors.

Maybe I'm misinformed, but I thought the first time they negotiated, everything was agreed on but the drug test.. Not going to bring up what he or she said.. Bottom line is that Floyd wanted extra blood testing, Pac's camp didn't agree for whatever reason, and they both fight someone else.. What other boxer between 140-154 would still be standing there in the 'I don't agree with extra blood test' field with Manny is my still unanswered question...

I dont believe that this is the real holdup.

However... with everything Aum says about Floyd, I dont see why Floyd would work with him either. This past weekend is just another example.

It was Todd Duboeuf who did the negotiating for Top Rank in 09 by the way.

The thing about that 40 million offer is it was confirmed by both parties that FLoyd did call Pacman, got him directly on the line and that some kind of offer was made.

If FLoyd really had no interest in making the fight, I don't see why he would call Pacman directly and offer him a lump sum of money. I've always felt I don't believe either guy is scared to fight each other, there's just obviously some details/specifics that they couldn't agree upon.
