Frontrunners are GGG, Canelo, and Ward. Yeah - Ward.

If Ward gets his business sorted out, he has a possible rival in GGG. Thats something a lot of people miss - in sports, to really make it huge you need a rival, at least in the public eye.

In the 00's we had Cotto, PAC, Floyd. Though PAC/FMJ rivalry really helped boost both careers, the fight never happening actually cost boxing as a sport a lot of fans.

If Ward can stay at 168, and the business end can get sorted out (which it might, Canelo is GBP but not Haymon - Oscar wants back on HBO) I think Canelo/GGG/Ward being in the same mix can boost all 3 and bring boxing back to the front pages again.

Even the roles are similar - Canelo/Cotto , GGG/PAC , Ward/FMJ
