He won't be healthy nor perform as he currently does if he moves down after six years of being 140+.

Should've thought about all that before he jumped up to 147.

If he jumps down, he's likely going to further diminish and get knocked out ala Chris Byrd, RJJ.

Roughly translating Pac's quotes, Pac was saying:

"I really am (a) small (fighter), I am 140 (lbs)"
(“Maliit naman talaga ako, 140 ako,” )

    then:

"I really came from 135 (LW division). I only went straight to 147 (WW division) because of (so I may fight) ODLH"
(“Galing naman talaga ako ng 135 (lightweight), Dumiretso lang ako ng 147 dahil kay (Oscar) De La Hoya.”)

then later, he said in the same interview:

"I can still even do 135"
(“135 nga kaya ko pa, eh”)

  5. He's saying that because he can't compete with the best at 147. He's too fragile. ****ing *****.

He probably could at a stretch, could definately make 140. It just a matter of whether he wants to go through the hassle of cutting.

There are LW's who get in the ring at 150

Then why didn't he go to 140 to fight Marquez?

Well he is a small guy for WW, so I could see him confortably fight at 140 lbs. 135, not so much.

It would be nice to see him take on big challenges at LW although there's no one really in that division currently who I'd consider a great fighter. I was disappointed with his first go around at the LW division, it was easily his most unimpressive weight class when he went after the worst LW titlist at the time in David DIaz.

He should just stick to 147. He's been at this weight for several years now.

To be fair, thats par for the course nowadays with LW's.

Figueroa weighs 150 ish on fight night.

When Broner fought Rees, they both weighed 150.
