    I used to like Lampley, up until the early to mid 00s. Sure he had his bad moments and was liked to cheer over missed punches, but not as much as he does now. I liked him better than the other main boxing commentators at that time.

    But somewhere along the line, he just got more ridiculous, more of a company man, more blind, more in love with Marco Antonio Barrera, then onto Miguel Cotto, etc...

    Lampley was disgracefully biased towards pacquaio yet again vs Bradley. He should be fired.

    Lampley was always a big cheerleader for DLH. Not Merchant though. DLH even tried to have him removed from HBO after the Whitaker fight, when he said "mariachi bands are great, but in this case, it stinks"
