Pac came in a 150lbs against Rios so that 15lbs to dehydrate and Pac has gained more than that in the past. So yes he could make 135lbs though he may lose something in doing so, especially at this late stage of his career.

Fact is he is always out weighted by natural welters at 147. So he's a natural 140lber or a huge 135lber.

And I'm sure it was Roach that came up with it. He's always looking for ways to use weight to give his fighters advantages.

Do you like to hear that too?

 yes I do actually. Matter a fact, I got some more damning info

BT: Well, I don't think there's going to be any this time. I have a feeling Manny is going to stop him and look pretty good doing it.

Micheal Koncz: Well, I hope and pray and I have faith in him, but we'll see because again, I thought he was going to do that before too. But maybe this extra weight, maybe that's the downfall to Marquez too. Maybe he can't do what he used to at 130 at the higher weight.

How is any of this damning? Boxers negotiating weight clauses to seek an advantage? Is that what troubles you?

I doubt it. It would have a great toll on his body. He's not getting younger.

As boxers get older, they tend to go up in weight, not down. If he said that I kind of interpret that to say he is basically done. Going down in weight at his age doesn't usually bring great results.

I'm trying to recall a time I've ever seen a fighter complain about a catchweight or even coming in over weight. These guys are big boys. It's the fans who do all the complaining.
