I am not sure. Are you a lawyer? I am a prosecutor and I haven't looked at this area of law since law school so in no means am I sure about this, but it looks like there is a jurisdictional clause that any disputes about the contract would be under Nevada law not California. (Exhibit and and B) I can't believe the fact that Mikey lived in California would have any bearing on which state's law would be used. You can certainly contract what laws will govern in a contract if I remember anything about conflicts. Now of course this would only apply to Promotional Rights Agreements in the Contracts as well as the other allegations that violated California law. (Exhibit A and B) I would imagine that the violation of the Muhammad Ali Act would be a federal issue and may be removed to federal court and federal law would control if Nevada law was in conflict. Not going to do the research. I will read the Reply (or is it response, I don't remember) from Top Rank. Thoughts?
