    Dont mean to sound bad when i say this but surely his father would want to see his son achieve things in his career rather then put it on hold possibly ruining it forever.

    Good move, he won't be able to focus 100% on boxing atm and may not be in the right place mentally, possibly affecting his in ring performance.

    Family's always got to come first IMO.
