Which knock downs have you seen that surprised you when the fighter stood up from them. We often talk about glass jaws on this site, and also guys who never go down. But we rarely talk about the guys who get up. So which survivals of knockdown impressed you guys?

I was surprised when Montiel got up from the Bomb that Donaire hit me with.
I was surprised when Bradley got up from the hammer Holt laid on him.
I was surprised when Ortiz got up from the 2nd Berto KD. That was a wicked hook Berto landed and most guys would have been sleeping.
I was surprised when Marquez got up from that Katsidis bomb. I know Marquez is known for getting up, it just really seemed like that shot was gonna put him away when it first landed.
That way Marcos Maidana was rolling around on the floor after Khan hit him in the body, I really didn't think he was gonna get up. Body shots are so damn debilitating and when fighters go down from them they usually don't come back.

How Larry got up from Earnie Shavers right hand bomb, I'll never understand.

Ruddock getting up from that left hook from Morrison. That stoppage after that was iffy.

Terry Norris actually making it to his feet, even though it was stopped because he was too wobbly, after those two right hands from Julian Jackson was very surprising.

  4. Holmes with an iron chin? Tyson knocked his ass down three times, and Holmes has been hurt on occasion.

Iron Heart maybe, but not an iron chin.

It wasn't the knockdown itself but I don't understand how Holyfield survived rounds 10-11 vs Bowe

The 3 I was thinking of were already mentioned.

    Holmes getting up against Shavers.
    Montiel getting up against Donaire.
    Ruddock getting up against Morison.

The final kd that Julio Gonzalez suffered against Julian Letterlough. Not only did he get up, he won the freaking fight, and scored a kd of his own in the very next round.

Ribalta and Ruddock against Tyson both had an insane ability to absorb huge shots and not die in the process.

    Well impressed.

Nigel Benn getting up against McClellan was something crazy. I thought he was ktfo when he took those freeshots hands down and fell trough the ropes.

Steve Cunningham somehow finds always way to get up and fight on when it seems like he is surely on his way to get stopped.
