Abraham was never really a force at 168 anyway (knocking out Taylor at the end of his career not withstanding).

Groves is pretty good, Froch is probably nearing the end of his over-achieving ways...Has Jr. even had a fight at the full 168 yet?

so 168 is Ward, an ageing Froch and an up and comer in Groves..

definitely a better and more competetive division than 140, as crockyoungun said

you could say the same thing about cruiserweight, all 4 major belts are outside the US and the US doesn't have a relevent fighter there since USS moved to HW, it doesn't mean it's a **** division,CW's actually quite a good one, just look at last year, Chak-Wlod and Jones-Lebedev were FOTY candidates, you've also got caveman Huck, Hernandez, Drozd, Rigo's brother Mchunu, and big but little known huge punchers like Makabu or Kalenga

clearly ^ you were implying it

I forgot to put Kessler on there
I'm not getting into your deluded arguments, when the super six was on not that long ago pretty much everyone was in agreement it was the strongest division in boxing... not much has changed since then!

fact, PEDerson is nothing more than a beltholder, I'll give you that

but Kessler is done friend, he is no longer a force at 168, Froch is equally on the downhill end of his career

Super Six? really? in it you had Dirrell, who's fought 2 times since then, an ageing Johnson, a Taylor who's been on the downslide since moving up from 160? an Abraham who's best division was 160? the only relevent fighters in the Super Six were Ward, Kessler and Froch

I agree cruiserweight is a top division

But that not what I was implying

I was saying the USA media try to say divisions are poor that don't have americans in the top 10- which is wrong and stupid seeing as though americans only dominate like 2 divisions around welterweight.

And some non yanks like you fall for it and believe it !!!!! :rofl:rofl

if you were to name what division has had the longest worst list of champions in the last 7-10 years

then light welterweight wins hands down and no one can deny this

147 is a very good division, it's only the Bob-GB war that prevents great fights being made, 140 isn't bad, there are much worse divisions, like 135 for example

And Kolodziej, when he's healthy, is a worthy enough contender at CW, too. Pretty solid division- and you could make a case that it's arguably the deepest division since it was established in 1980.

Following the same argument, Flyweight is arguably the deepest division in boxing with solid contenders/former champions lined up from top to bottom. And there aren't any Americans to be found in the division. Yet, a lot of people don't follow it because "no one cares about flyweights".:-(
