But FMJ retired so that removes the Baldomir win out of the equation.
I can agree with getting it from Shane, but notice that at the time, Pac was already making waves at WW, it can be argued that Pac and Shane were already contenders.
Then he "went on a vacation" after defeating Mosley. So that invalidates his lineal championship, assuming he got it from Shane.

Since then the lineal champ at WW was vacated, with Pac as the number 1 contender.
Since FMJ went back, he only defeated Ortiz and Guerero, neither of those should bring his lineal championship back.
The only big thing that happened in the WW division was JMM KTFO6 Pac, and Bradley SD12 Pac, and that put both of these guys as top contenders until they fought each other. That of course resulted to Bradley defeating contenders 1 and 3 (Pac and JMM), which is enough to put him above FMJ, who only ever defeated Ortiz and Guerero -- both ranked but both nowhere near Pac or JMM post KTFO6 calibre.

Firstly you don't need to give him the credit he deserves because he has it already it is set in stone.Personally i think both parties are to blame i love both fighters and feel like we have been robbed of the biggest fight of our era it would of been huge the appeal of Floyds defensive game against Mannys offensive game would of been a match made in heaven.

Mayweather has pretty much been lineal champ sicne he beat Baldomir, who beat Judah who was undisputed LWW champ.

    No ones beate Floyd sooo...

No matter what way you dice it, Floyd is the lineal WW and LMW champ currently.

Although I dont think he ever fights at 154 again

Yes of course, it would be too tight for Pac to wear it, to small to carry.

All of the immaturity aside, if they were scheduled to fight next week, Mayweather would be a HUGE betting favorite. I bet you wouldn't be willing to put any serious money on Pacquiao, would you? We both know at any time in history, Mayweather would be the clear favorite. I'm a fan of both guys btw, but yes, I've always thought this was a fight that favored Mayweather.

They way I see it, Pac and team believed (during that time at least) that he is on the same level as Floyd. Pac was offended that he was being accused of taking PEDS by Floyd. Since they believed that they were equal with Floyd when it comes to star power, they decided that they won't let themselves be bullied around by Floyd's demands.

Fast forward to the future, after Pac lost to both Bradley and JMM, he now realizes that he is really not in a place to refuse Floyd's demands and eventually agreed to everything Floyd demanded earlier.

Pac even realizes the importance of additional testing as he's done it in his past 2 fights after getting knocked out by a nearly 40 year old beast in JMM. VADA handled the random testing for Pac-Bradley 2.

Now for the fans who think that Floyd is right in making more and more demands for Pacquiao to somewhat teach him a lesson for refusing to bend over for him earlier, i don't get it. Would you rather have that than finally having Floyd and Pac in the same ring? If you're a boxing fan, you'd choose the latter. If wjat the Floyd fans here say is true about Pac being an easy fight for Floyd, I see no reason for Floyd not to take this fight since it's high reward ( very very high ) low risk situation for him.

He retired. That removes "lineality". That is a well-documented criteria, even The Ring lists it as one.
Then he got it from Shane again, then he retired again.
You don't get magically awarded as lineal champ when you come out of retirement.
And since then he only defeated Ortiz and Guerero in WW.
So the only logical reasoning for him to be considered the lineal WW champ is if he got it from Guerero, which is odd when Pac, JMM and Bradley are all top contenders and all just went against each other, which resulted to Bradley, then now Pac, being on top, chronologically speaking of course.

Pacs blood cant be tested, its supernatural. The needle would break and the syringe explode if they tried. True story

Ok regarding Manny taking testing now and not before well back when floyd was asking for it it was not common doing random blood testing(Floyd was the only one asking for it) but at the time of the Rios fight it got alot more common hence the reason why Manny probably jumped on the band wagon just my 2 cents.

First off, your original argument is that Mayweather never beat any lineal champs. That of course isn't true. He has beat at least one lineal champ and arguably two. You are now trying to change your argument. Second, no way on God's green earth could Bradley be ranked ahead of Mayweather at WW. Even if you believe being inactive removes you from the rankings, it certainly doesn't remove your entire history. And speaking of contender's rankings, Ortiz and Guerrero were ranked 2 and 3 respectively when Mayweather beat them. And neither win was a result of a controversial decision.

It you guys want to contort reality in order to fit it into your own personal agenda, go right ahead. Pacquiao is no lineal WW champ. No objective observer would ever try to argue that he is.

Thank you very much, it make some sense. However, is on record that PAC did not do VADA for bradley 2. It was commission testing while bradley on his own paid for additional VADA testing to prove himself. Please if you can clear this last ambit, I'll be completely sold since PAC did VADA for rios and has already said marquez must do VADA. I am 100% sure PAC didn't do VADA for any of bradley fights.

    Thanks anyway.
