Floyd plays by his own rules, belts don't matter at that level the only way that fight is getting made is if Floyd wants it.

Shame really fault on both sides I would say 60 / 40 Floyd why it has not been made, such a huge clash of styles it would be a really interesting fight to watch. I am a fan of both fighters but would say Floyd neeeds it more than Pac in terms of legacy, there will always be an asterix regaring ducks and cherry picking unless he takes it.

Not in 2009/2010 when it the odds are almost even.

And that's why I'm confused, most of his fans and even critics thinks he would win easy but it seems Mayweather always has some demands ot excuse for not making the fight.

I hope to god he doesn't fight those two. Im a fan of Mayweather but if he fights either of those then he goes down in my estimation. He took the **** fighting Ortiz and Guerrero, but if he fights one of those then he's really taking the biscuit! Considering he has three more fights left, he should want to "give the fans what they want"

I swear you idiots don't even understand how lineality works.
Here let me paint it out for you:

    1. You only get it if you beat a lineal champ, or two top contenders in the division fights and one emerges as victor when the title is vacant (which is the case for Shane and Cheato).
    2. You retire/go on a vacation or test positive from a banned substance it gets removed from you. Period.
    3. If there are two top contenders that refuses to fight each other, and one of the contenders fights the other contenders in the top 5 (which is the case of Bradley) he gets the lineal champ.

    And here are your sources:

There's absoutely NOTHING wrong wit Khan fight.

Khan lacks in only one dept, and Roid Mayflower aint ever been known for devastating one punch power.
As long as Khan keeps his guard up on the breaks, he'll be a live dog to win a decision over Mayweather, maybe even stop him with his body punching.:thumbsup

He made it clear that he wasn't fighting anybody because he is "going on a vacation".
And that "vacation" extended to more than a year. He made it clear that he has no intents of fighting anymore at least not in the considerable future. That marks a boxer as "inactive".
That should remove his claim as the lineal champ, and should've made the spot vacant, with Pac now as number 1 contender.

You can either argue that since Bradley defeated Pac when he was number 1 contender, then defeated JMM when he too was number 1 contender (post KTFO6 Pac) for the lineal champ in WW, then that puts Bradley as the lineal champ, according to the sources I posted above.

No way in hell FMJ gets his lineal title back by defeating Ortiz and Guerero.
The only way that he'd still be lineal is if you think going on a 1+ year layoff doesn't remove it from you.
