In what alternate universe has Manny ever been the A side over Floyd Mayweather? The numbers never indicated that Manny was ever a bigger attraction than Mayweather! But then again Manny wouldn't know his numbers Bob Arum doesn't show them to him...

I'm just hypothesizing what Manny was probably thinking during negotiations, and rightfully so.

Worst case scenario, he was the #2 P4P fighter. SO he might've thought that he didn't need to succumb to every one of FLoyd's demands.

I'm just trying to make sense as to why the fight didn't happen. Manny not being lenient with cutoff dates was suspicious, him speaking of his phobia with needles even though he has tattoos was even more suspicious.

I don't want to believe Manny was on PED's, but I can understand why there was a high level of suspicion since he was beating up on guys who were larger than him with relative ease.

i agree with you that I always thought FLoyd was the A side fighter in a potential May-Pac matchup. I thought he was always the P4P champ and the PPV king as well.

I was just trying to make logic out of why Manny had such a strong aversion to a stringent drug testing policy.

Zaveck and Chaves were countering Thurman. What do you think Floyd will do to him?

You're not gonna beat Floyd by outboxing him. And Thurman will get countered all night with those wide swings.

It's universally agreed around here that he beat Bradley the first time, I've never heard anyone who wasn't trolling claim otherwise.

He went life and death with Provodnikov, nearly getting put out multiple times. He barely squeeked out a decision, many had it for Provodnikov.

He had a close fight with Marquez, I had it a Bradley win, but many people thought Marquez won it.

In his three prior fights he had a clear loss, and two debatable wins. No, I didn't have him in my top 10 p4p, and I'd like for you to disprove what I said. I'm not trolling at all, Bradley's performances before this fight were not deserving of such accolades, period.

Left to fight Canelo? Fighting once at a different weight class does not mean that you have left the division.

Hearns himself had a lenghty interview with the RIng Magazine in 2010.

He felt that FLoyd could fight with the Fab 4 of his era, but not Manny.

he also believes Manny would be easy work for himself, but thought that Mayweather's boxing ability and movement would be much tougher.

Hearns said in that interview he believes FLoyd would go the full 15 round distance with him. He mentioned how he'd have to utilize his jab/reach advantage to keep Floyd in check, but that he didn't believe he could KO FLoyd.

That to me says a lot, usually when great fighters retire they always feel they could dominate the great fighters of today. He praised Mayweather in that interview, goes to show you the level of respect he has for a fellow ATG.

The lineal title can be traced fight by fight back to the beginning. Pac has lineal titles at other weights, not ww.
