This was the fight to be made back then! Joel and Floyd were the very best junior lightweights and lightweights of their time but this mega fight never happened. Why? You can bet your money it wasn't Casamayor's fault as he was always calling out Mayweather ever since he defected from Cuba but May never paid any attention to him. :-(

Hmmm, and why? Maybe it was because Casamayor was MUCH MUCH better than the Cuban amateur Lorenzo Aragón who almost beat Mayweather ( May won by 1 point ) and so he thought this Casamayor dude was going to give me fits! Good thinking Floyd ... he would have given you fits!

This was a 50/50 fight and anything would've happened. Casamayor was always willing but Mayweather never stepped up to face El Cepillo. Actions speak louder than words.

If Lorenzo Aragón gave Mayweather all he could handle and Aragón was way below Casamayor's level then Casamayor had a great chance at beating Mayweather.

Joel Casamayor was outboxed by Corrales, Freitas, Castillo, Marquez and people think he can beat 130 GOAT Floyd.

    Laughable

Floyd knocks him out in 2 rounds tops.

He hits far too hard at 130.

Even Arguello woulda been knocked out....

They're talking about 130 pounds.... :patsch

Not saying he would KO Casamayor in 2, but pretending Mayweather didn't have power at 130 is pretty ridiculous.

I would be surprised if Casa could land 1 punch lol.

Being honest, Floyd was that good at 130.

Floyd would put him on ***** street after every round hand.

There's a reason Casamayor ducked him...

You're such an idiot it is hilarious.

Why did you make your statement then? Exactly.... because you're an idiot. Do you know how many times I've outright ***** slapped your ass on this forum? And you keep coming back for more.......

The fact you even try to pretend you know anything about boxing is laughable.

You tried to hate on Floyd's recent KO rate at 147 pounds, in a conversation about 130 pounds. You're a joke. A clown. Somebody who should never be taken seriously, only laughed at.

AMS AND PROS ARE DIFFERENT. He wanted CasaMayor but FMJ wasn't bringing in the bread. At 130 Casa wouldn't have stood a chance.

You guys keep saying Casa ducked May but I recall countless of times Casamayor calling out Mayweather during his pro career. I don't have the interviews to post here but he definitely was always with Mayweather's name in the air. On the other side, Mayweather hardly mentioned his name except for the only time he did in the video you guys posted above...

I didn't say he would KO Casamayor in 2 but Floyd could have certainly beat him by T/KO. You're clearly dismissing Floyd's power at 130 pounds, where the man had close to an 80% KO rate. You can just see the hate coming out of your posts, it is hilarious.

Again, your idiocy is showing. You're already deflecting: "let me know who's he Ko ed in under 3 rds at any weight that was on his level .." Many consider, and with accuracy, that Mayweather is the GOAT at 130 pounds. Who is on his level exactly? You're putting some opinionated condition on it... In other words "If YOU in your idiotic spastic opinion" don't think somebody is "on the level" you will dismiss the KO victory.

I'm honestly way too intelligent to be talking to you. It's like trying to explain something to a child.

And I agree that May had the advantage at 130 pounds mainly because of his height but Casa had the advantage at 126 pounds. Casamayor was very small at 5'5 compared to May at 5'8 - 5'9 so Casamayor's best chances were at 126 pounds. Casamayor best weight was 126 pounds but then decided to jump to 130 were he lost much speed. Of course, Casa wasn't Champion at 126 but rather at 130lbs...
