It is when you look as to when he fought these guys ! Other than Oscar the other 2 were cherry picks look when he fought them ..Canelo was never a threat his hype didn't make him dangerous and Cotto was a damaged fighter ..the guys does everything to pad that record and protect that 0 that's why he's fighting Maidana now ..

Only one of them has a claim. And that is Mayweather.

Recent relevant history and lineage of the Welterweight lineal title:

    Judah vs. Baldomir
Baldomir wins lineal title from Judah

    Baldomir vs. Gatti
    Baldomir retains lineal title

    Baldomir vs. Mayweather
Mayweather wins lineal title from Baldomir

    Mayweather vs. Hatton
    Mayweather retains lineal title

Mayweather retires, leaving lineal title vacant

    Cotto vs. Margarito - #1 vs. #2
    Margarito wins vacant lineal title

    Margarito vs. Mosley
Mosley wins lineal title from Margarito

    Mosley vs. Mayweather
Mayweather wins lineal title from Mosley

    Mayweather vs. Ortiz
    Mayweather retains lineal title

    Mayweather vs. Guerrero
    Mayweather retains lineal title

    Mayweather vs. Maidana
Mayweather defends lineal title for third time

    ---

There is no other way of looking at it.

Tell me how in the world this is incorrect. Please. I will wait.

floyd's other demand that pac gave in.

    floyd wanted top billing (mayweather-pacquiao)

floyd wanted to be the last person to be introduced even though pac was the champ.

floyd wanted the fight to be in las vegas.

early on in the negotiation, here's another floyd's demand that was rejected.

154...a weight Floyd doesn't even come near when he fights at 154....maybe that article you quoted that from has led you astray

I know exactly what type of drug testing you are talking about ..None of the other testing was rbt but than again this style of testing isn't even random ..Where is that link from Marquez conditioning coach ..

No the fools here are you F l o m o s e x u a l s who defend every excuse and obstacle that the greatest cherry picker in the sport comes up with!

The good of the sport my ass from a part time cherry picker who is he to talk about the good of the sport

And I'm looking at the guy who asks for extra testing what's he afraid of that JMM wasn't ! You guys are sad excuses for boxing fans ! Here you have a true warrior who didn't need all that extra bs to get the job done !

It's time you guys accept the fact that your boy doesn't want to lose his 0 at all costs and will only challenge Manny once he loses 2 more steps like he did with Cotto ! Must be a sad place in delusion vile !

One half of the negotiating table.

Obviously there are more moving parts than the fighters themselves. Their "Team" directly represents them.

And Team Pacquiao are the ones who have admitted walking away from the only serious negotiation back when the fight meant the absolute most, citing random blood testing with no cutoff date as an invasive and inappropriate demand.

Yes, but remember the deal that Team Mayweather sent to Team Pacquiao, already signed? 50/50 split. Mayweather was to be billed first. Mayweather walked out second, but was to be introduced first. 10 million dollar weight penalty per pound overweight, which was a Pacquiao demand. 8 oz. gloves and 147 weight limit... All of that was agreed to on one half of the table. And the Team Pacquiao cited random blood tests as the reason for a no-go.

10mil per lb sounds ridiculous but Floyd never weighed more than that, there was no danger to Floyd for accepting it. I think they wanted Floyd to accept it to make him feel small and like Pac's team were controlling the shots. That was when Pacs hype was at its height and they were the 2 biggest boxers in the world, they wanted to say that Pac is bigger so you have to give in to his demands and he won't accept yours, it's pretty much what Floyd does to all his opponents now. After that broke down Pacs team said yes to the random testing but Floyd wouldn't accept, in every interview that he's been asked about Pac since 2010 he says he doesn't want to fight Pac and gives one of his excuses to why not. Pac's popularity and image has declined and yet Floyd can sell millions of PPVs against anyone, so it's clear now that Floyd is the bigger name and Pacs team will do anything to get the fight, but Floyd's ego is stopping it from happening. I don't think it's ever been about Pac not wanting drug testing or Floyd being afraid of losing to him like *****s and *******s often say.
