Interval running

    Out of interest, has anybody considered Skipping, for a good speed, cardio workout. It can do so many variations for fitness without you getting injured.

    nice results.. i do it under 2:50 (after 5x100m sprints), need to work hard on my cardio...

    @scrap - i know it sounds funny, i once injured bone on the outside part of the foot while skipping (cube bone??), i was putting too much weight on that side, came on the training tired and thats what happened.. had to rest 2 weeks to get back :)

    Impact on the joints similar to running, no?

    Not as such, obviously there is, but its more in the line with movement of boxing plus hand, foot coordination. Try 6x1double skip routine, with 20 secs rest in between. Handy when its cold and wet outside :D

    Brilliant. I'll make sure to pass that one off to the NFL/NBA. They'll not only be fitter but also stronger somehow, the future of S+C (along with that treadmill). Forget oly lifting, treadmills tipped on their side is where it's at.
