you also need something called punching technique, handspeed and skills to use punching power to full extent, and unfortunately Maidana is lacking badly in all 3 departments mentioned above

 

However bad you think Maidana's "technique" and "skills" are, the bottom line is he has serious knockout power and caught Khan numerous times. "Glass" cannot withstand the brute power of Chino Maidana!

Whilst I agree with you here, but am pretty sure, your one of the guys that said it was a lucky punch that he got khan got hit with, you dont get hit with 'lucky punches' over and over again - so which one is it, he got caught with a lucky punch or his defence is poor and he got tagged many times and the perfect one took him out and his chin whilst not complete glass is still mediocre

 

brute power will only get you so far, at the highest level you need skills in pair with brute power

I'm not bashing Khan, because despite having a glass jaw he also has tremendous heart (which incidentally almost cost him the Maidana fight)

 

Whilst am not defending these nuthuggers, i ask you this - wasnt lopez meant to be a rough tough fighter and got dropped and taken out with a very similar punch to what khan got caught many times.
