there are 2 things to be considered: the Maidana Khan fought and the Maidana under Robert Garcia is a vastly different fighter, he started to use his jab, and even shows shades of defense and ring intelligence

second, Broner also seems to be sporting a suspect chin, but i will leave that to the chincheckers to confirm if my suspisions are correct

Lopez is a tough SOB, but he's definitely no world-beater, there's a difference between being tough and durable and being tough, but at a level(s) above most fighters

just like you said, world beaters don't get KO'd easily, JMM needed the perfect punch (a great name for a movie :yep ) to put Manny to sleep, he was on his way to get beaten up badly before timing him perfectly

If Khan chin is as bad as some ***** ass keyboard warriors claim to be, surely a half decent puncher like Maidana should of KO Khan in the first few rounds...

Note watch the fight Maidana landed really good shots on Khan way before that 10th round and Khan took them..

Note rewatch Khan vs Garcia first 2 rounds Garcia landed full blown lefts and rights bang on Khan's chin with no effect..

Maidana is a different fighter, but not really an improved fighter from AK fight (since that fight his form took a dip), he uses his jab more, but always had a decent one to set up punches, Maidana could always slip punches but has improved along the ropes,

Broner has a suspect chin - dont think he has, but ok, what about Lopez, Karrass - good chin.

No it was not a lucky punch... Khan was fighting the wrong fight with a puncher..

 

Karrass and Lopez are tough and durable, but they are easier to hit clean and knock out then let's say 2010 Khan, especially for a guy like Chino

 

Apart from the last 3 rounds khan didnt exactly run, just watch the first few rounds, Maidana landed 150+ punches on Khan (he was either missing or connecting clean, hardly any grazing shots), landed 100 punches vs Lopez - but a lot were to the body and half the amount of power punches. againts karass he was punching going backwards half the time and he threw more to the body and power punches he landed were a similar amount (although it look like he landed a lot more jabs)

 

"Average" power doesn't drop an iron chinned Lucas Matthysse.

 

Garcia is not a puncher he has average power look at his fights since being at champ level not many ko for a puncher is it. And he didnt drop matthyse it was not a legit knock down everyone knows that. Collazo will stop khan midway

Khan has no chin and is an extemely overrated boxer who has got this far by using speed against short non-punching mediocre opponents, he no longer even has speed.

If he survives Collazo somehow then he will get KOd the millisecond he steps up. Stop this nonsense.
